2018 Honda Civic Sport Manual. Got a Carvana written offer for $230 less than MSRP last week.

For anyone else in this boat, I requested a refund through the payment processor and got a refund within 24 hours. I had luck using this link and filling it out with the information from my email receipt. https://help.xsolla.com/i-made-a-payment-and-need-a-refund

Austin, a super liberal city, voted to make being homeless illegal.

The single greatest failure of our education system, is not properly teaching how compound interest works. The monthly cost of anything vs the real total cost should always be taken into account when buying anything with credit and people do not either care enough to google it or know enough to do the math.

Deboss Garage and their 67 C10 wrecker with a nasty Duramax swap as well as their OBS F150 that is getting a CAT motor. Good Canadian fun.

Chair yes.

This is probably going to end up being a less hideous Ford Escape CUV rather than a vehicle an enthusiast would want to own. It would be rad if it had real offroad potential, but I doubt that in the baby Bronco. Maybe the big one will be a real Jeep Wrangler competitor though.

I think tiered licensing like most of the rest of civilized world would be a better solution than banning high-powered bikes. Get a basic license and get up to 60HP. Get an advanced for up to 120HP. Get something more for the absurd bikes with more power than my car. Honestly I wouldn’t be opposed to something similar

I have a 2018 Civic Hatch Sport with a manual. It was right around $22K new and I’m not sure a sunroof and fancy stereo would make it $7K better. That money would be better spent on an Si or jumping to the Accord probably. But the little 1.5L Turbo is the whole reason to get the hatch as at the time it wasn’t

This was the best generation of Camry and Toyota have been coasting ever since. My family had one of these for a few years in the mid-2000s after my grandfather died and we assumed ownership. It was great for an otherwise normal car. Drove well enough, wasn’t terribly slow (even with the 4cyl), and just ate up miles

Opel Manta

Holy Shit, Kid Cub. That was my shitty hometown A minor league team growing up. Central Pennsylvania is the worst.

I am genuinely saddened by this. Colani was a madman but also had a ton of great ideas about using unconventional aerodynamic designs to improve efficiency. This big truck concepts will forever look like the future to me. We need more weirdos like Luigi Colani and less bean counters making cars boring.

If Pocono wants to keep Indy Car, they should build a compelling road course using the infield to slow things down to a reasonable speed so people stop getting hurt or worse. It’s not cheap or easy, but if they really want Indy Car around long term, there needs to be a way to race there other than the current

I have a 2018 Sport with a manual and it is a delightful car but misses out on some of nice tech features of the Sport Touring trim. Highly recommend it. Unless you’re taking it to a track, the Civic Si isn’t a better daily and $600 to Hondata or KTuner will give it similar power.

TJP won the Cruiserweight Classic mostly because they couldn’t get Kota Ibushi or Zack Sabre Jr to sign a deal. One of them was the original plan, but neither wanted to sign long term with WWE so TJP was sort of a punt. He had better matches in the tournament than he ever did after it as well. And he had experience on

I got to see one a few years back somewhere (in the last 10 years or so). I think it was the State Fair in Bloomsburg, PA or somewhere similar. It was super awesome in person.

This is far less than I expected it to be. The Mark IV MSRP was $34K for NA and $40K for the turbo which adjusts to more like $55-$65K today. Hopefully it’s actually a good car.

If you’re in the manual hatch market I ended up going with a Civic Hatchback Sport. More power than Mazda offers and for a bit less money in my experience. I’m a year in and have zero regrets about my choice.

If F1 wants to go full wacky to make competition happen, use the one good crazy idea Bernie ever had and get some sprinklers to soak the track and run the race on full wets. It was a terribly crazy idea when he was in charge and it’s still a terrible crazy idea.
