I call mine my magic carpet ride. It just snaps to my body and hangs on through any driving regime.

Just my two cents, I find the primary concern among my peers for not buying a motorcycle is that other motorists scare the shit out of us. The arms race of SUV/CUV purchasing for vehicular safety mixed with the rise of distracted driving and frankly never having free time “just for a ride” has made my risk aversion

New Souls waited to be born... separated from their siblings only by Time* and thusly not separate at all...

Most people have always required practically. Thirty years ago cars were less expensive so more fun cars were sold. Minivans today are huge compared to many of the best selling CUV. Although being ashamed of being a parent may influence some people too.

The reality is you’re not sacrificing anything for daily driving, really. It’s not hard to get into or out if with kids, it’s actually easier to load stuff into, there’s plenty of room, and it looks better. Did everone really decide getting into and out of non-SUVs is hard? I’m genuinely asking.

Now the same service contract costs $5K. I recently completed negotiations at a dealer in Long Island.

When we bought our used 2006 BMW 330i in 2008 we got the extended warranty.

I bought the wheel and tire warranty on an 2008 E90 M3. It had the runflats and no spare. Trust me, this is something that should be considered if the roads around you aren’t basically perfect.

That I needed the extended warranty because “do you know how much brakes cost on a BMW?”

I had a Chevrolet dealer in Wisconsin tell me that nobody buys Subarus because they can’t handle winter. I asked him to elaborate but he just went on about how good the Trax is.

The Mid Night club in Japan had a code... should anyone die as a result of their high-speed actions, they would disband the club immediately.

Unfortunately, such an incident came to pass, but they stuck to their word. The club, and the high-speed antics, ceased immediately. A few stragglers tried to get it going again,

Ohh yes

He should have called...

Translate: “We’re not sure which alibi we’re going with yet but we want to make sure we all pick the same one this time.”

Suspect: “Your Honor, the roof of the house was black, so I feared for my life.”

Let’s revisit the issue after there has been some accountability for the insurrectionists.

It’s pretty shocking how painfully fucking stupid Trump voters are. You’re either a naive dimwit easily manipulated by Fox/Russia or a toxic bastard to vote red these days.

Don’t leave a one car length gap at stops.
