So how does the persistent online DRMish stuff work in Diablo III?

Good. That guy was always a jerk and was unrepentant, even proud, of what his site stood for.
Lord, I love the stock people they've put into that concept picture.
In this case, I doubt piracy made a big dent. This game was in development for a long, long time.
And all his does here is spend too much cash in terrible clubs and give the occasional non-helpful talk on tech startups.
I know they're keeping the screen size small because of the 3DS's resolution, but man do I hate what they do on that border.

I don't care about cellphone calls midflight. Just give me a plug that I can use to charge whatever gadget I'm using to drown out the rest of the plane.
And now watch the video to that song:
Or realize that it's just a phone and anyone who judges you based on that is an idiot.
I can't believe this guy still thinks he's the voice of all things indie.
Again, I have no idea if your machine is wonky or broken or something, but I certainly wasn't experiencing terrible framerate issues on my PS3.
Why wouldn't the demo be a pretty good indication of a game's framerate? Even if the OXM's videos show a competent Xbox 360 version, a equally good PS3 demo (like the one currently running on my machine) should also inspire some confidence, right?
Putting on the Amulet of Talos cuts out 73 days though.
The 'Happy Birthday Tim' dragon shout is still crap though, even when fully upgraded.
The PS3 demo works fine for me (and you need to realize that demo builds are usually a few weeks old). Capcom also had a two-hour long live-streaming event where the developers played the game and took questions, all on the PS3 build, which seems like a good vote of confidence for it.
That Tunicate reminds me of something...
You've yet again underestimated the tenacity and insanity of your average Asian :p
Except all you did then was click a single button to create a status updates. This involves collectively hacking away at a super-dragon until it dies.
