I dont know if you could say it is still in production today. But you could very easily say it was in production until 1995 very easily. The last YJ to roll off the assembly line in 95 had the same suspension, same body shape, could be ordered with a 4 cyl motor, a manual transmission, and a 2 speed transfer case. So…

Its cool... But why the 4bt? It looks like he still has plenty of room for a 6bt. While everyone see's "turbo diesel" and assumes it has lots of TQ and power, its a non IC motor. I bet it has 100hp, and 175-200tq. In a truck this old and heavy that really isnt that much power.

How does Washington DC not have some sort of small bus/shuttle program? The tiny town of 1200 people I live in has one, and it is very affordable. It just blows me away that DC doesnt have something like this.

A police scanner gives these operations away FAST. My dad s a truck driver and use's a scanner and good radar detector to keep from getting tickets. He has a few stories about hearing guys getting cut loose because of faster speeders and things like that.

This is why they get his by bus drivers.

Bought this when I was 14, and still own it at 27, so 13 years. Been a long road, almost sold it once and the deal fell through. Im VERY glad it did.
