I dont know if you could say it is still in production today. But you could very easily say it was in production until 1995 very easily. The last YJ to roll off the assembly line in 95 had the same suspension, same body shape, could be ordered with a 4 cyl motor, a manual transmission, and a 2 speed transfer case. So

Its cool... But why the 4bt? It looks like he still has plenty of room for a 6bt. While everyone see's "turbo diesel" and assumes it has lots of TQ and power, its a non IC motor. I bet it has 100hp, and 175-200tq. In a truck this old and heavy that really isnt that much power.

I didnt see color either, just people and I live in the US. So tired of people that seem to force racism down everyone's throat. Its like they go looking for it.

Of course there will not be a problem. The government gets paid when they sell these so they dont care about things like that. Now try to import a skyline and get a jail cell.... all about revenue!

Problem is most po-po's cant handle a charger. One of the local PD's switched to the chargers when the first came out and every single one of them has been wrecked. Most of them multiple times.

Whats the price on one? I imagine it would be cheaper then a r/t, but with all the goodies...

So you dont like a guy who was against using taxpayer money to help you keep your job and help pay for your schooling? Almost sounds like someone has bought your vote...

How does Washington DC not have some sort of small bus/shuttle program? The tiny town of 1200 people I live in has one, and it is very affordable. It just blows me away that DC doesnt have something like this.

Can you time yourself with that program?

Im gonna have to check this out soon. Its only a few hours away.

This was a hard choice. I am VERY lucky to live in a area that has more elevation changes and windy roads then most. The one I decided on this one, the Bickelton-Mabton rd. Its takes you from the middle of no where, to the middle of BFE. With a good hill climb and some awesome curves it is a blast, without even

Do you know if this is the same road "northwest neons" hit up once a year? I know they make a st Helens run every year.

Im glad I am not the only one that does this. I live in eastern WA, and have layed out many "race tracks" on google maps. Tons of good roads around here.

A police scanner gives these operations away FAST. My dad s a truck driver and use's a scanner and good radar detector to keep from getting tickets. He has a few stories about hearing guys getting cut loose because of faster speeders and things like that.

This is why they get his by bus drivers.

What motor does your ZJ have? Ive been looking at buying a cherokee, but the grands are just as cheap these days and seem to have had easier lives. But Im concerned they just wont get the same MPG's.

I wish it still looked like the middle picture. Was such a nice rig back then. But then we started running it in the woods since that was what it was build for and just destroyed the body. Now that I am older... I wish it was nice again.

Bought this when I was 14, and still own it at 27, so 13 years. Been a long road, almost sold it once and the deal fell through. Im VERY glad it did. Its never leaving, it will be that one car I will own for the rest of my life, even if I dont drive it much. Dont plan on passing it down to my kids until I am dead.

"Whatever you called them, by 1987 these cars featured a turbocharged and intercooled 2.6 liter inline 4 cylinder engine complete with electronic fuel injection—a pretty advanced set up at the time."

STOP!
