How about something designed to go 200k a year? 10k service intervals, a place to sleep, and air ride seats. What more could you want?

Where do you get one of these? May seem petty and lazy, but if you have kids this may cut down on the fries that are jammed into the back seat so I want one!

The town I live in has a much simpler solution. On top of the school zone sign is a amber light. When it is lit, you drive 20. When it is off, you drive 25. Nice and simple.

I would attribute the high accident rate to girls with v6 stangs. When I was in the auto body biz it seemed we gone one in every one to two months, and they were all wrecked by young girls. Once car came back three times before the girl totaled it...

So it was a bad motor because it was a high maintenance engine?

They were converted to "gasifier's". They could run on anything. Wood, coal, garbage. Pretty cool technology. If you have some time do some poking around on google.

I agree with you 100%. I understand that money is what drives that pharmaceutical companies to do the research and make drugs that can heal people. Not the fact they are healing people, but the money. On one hand I am okay with that if that's what it takes for new cancer drugs to get to the market and things like

My dream project car changes weekly. Its a good thing I normally change my mind before tracking down what I want to buy. My first realistic project car I wanted was a late 60's jeep wagoneer with 1 ton axles and at least 40" tires. Locked both ends. Didnt know much about motors so as long as it moved I would have been

I take prescription meds (legally) continuously. I have chronic pain and the stuff never leaves my system. Doesn't affect my driving, but I think that is because my body has adapted. When I first started taking them, and only took them once in a while I quit taking them when I had to drive. Defiantly noticed a

Yay for more complication!!!! Seriously? Cars like this are so new to the market, I would think a car company would want to make the normal stuff um, normal like the DOORS. Instead people wont buy it because of the stupid doors, and then Tesla will go bankrupt complaining that people weren't ready for electric cars.

Stories like this remind me why I love living in a town with a population of 1200. Parking isnt a issue when downtown is "busy". There was one time I had to park a block from the restaurant we were going to.

Either the Fiat is ALOT larger then I hoped, or that girl is TINY!

I always looked at the bottoms of my hot wheels when I was a kid. I remember thinking if they didnt have a metal bottom they were junk. I wanna say the 66 mustang convertible had a pretty detailed bottom, along with the army Jeep. But those were my favorites too, so I may have just studied them more.

They are light and a B-series is a bolt in. Pretty basic hotrodding.

No emissions is this part of WA. I would have no trouble getting that registered.

OMG LIVE AXLE SUCKS DURRR!!!! Sorry, just thought we would go ahead and get that out of the way....

Some cars pull it off okay. It NEVER looks right on a 4-door.

My neon looks pretty similar to that, after 15 years... lol

You know what the best part is? This was actually built in the 70's for street racing and use to sport a 426 HEMI! Here is a link to the resurrection/build thread.

So If I wait another 30 years my neon will look cool because it has "patina" instead of crappy paint? lol...
