Yes I have. Even took a class on how to rebuild rotaries that was put on by one of the rotary guru's in the PNW. A good friend of mine has a 89 Turbo II that we have hooned the crap out of. Another friend of mine has a 88 that started out as a NA, then was boosted. It now has a Ls1 and he LOVES it. He gets MUCH better

Because they have pistons not rotor's so they are automatically 1000% more reliable then anything rotary powered. If a stash of RX7's ever are found, there better be a pile of new LS1's to go with them, or they might as well be scrap metal.

My local track is. The cars are always tech-ed in, and safety is the main thing they check for. There is ALWAYS a ambulance there, and they have a big shutdown area. I have witnessed a bad wreck there once (vw bug rolling at 120mph) and the ambulance and safety crew were there very quickly.

Im sure it will come off. I just dont think it was a real good idea on GM's part with the target group for this kind of car. Now for the cobalt or something like that it would be okay, but not on a 4 door family car. No matter how "electrifying" it is, lol.

What are you using to tune it? Its gonna be a while before I can afford the car, but I could build a turbo setup in a couple weekends. After a buddy of mine bought a evo I am sold on AWD, only way to go on a high HP street car. Have you ever taken it to the track?

Ahh the bro truck. I will agree, and the more stickers the worst they are. I dont know if its because there is a sticker to d-bag ratio or because they get to a point they cant see out of the back window....

I FINIALY saw one of these yesterday with the wife. It had a GIANT volt sticker on the side. My wife sarcastically asked me why someone would do that (the sticker). I told her its some form of a electric hybrid that you can plug in. Her response was "I dont care what it is, it looks stupid and I would never drive it".

I did not know that, use to see them all the time at work but never paid alot of attention to them. How is your tranny/awd holding up to 650hp? A friend told me the AWD wont hold up to much more then the stock 5.7 but google didnt find hardly anything on a boosted AWD LX car.

While I also really want a vette, specifically a C5 ZO6 with a targa and 6 speed... I need more then two seats. My next pick? A Charger/Magnum/300 SRT8 with AWD. Preferably the wagon. Add a turbo or two, and have alot of fun in a car that has alot of traction! :)

Depends on how you look at it. They take money in, and spend money. They do produce a product (roads, bridges, welfare ect). Just like any business if you cant balance your checkbook and relay heavily on credit you will be out of business in no time. Which is EXCACTLY what washington is doing right now.

I agree 100%. There was alot of things I didn’t like about Trump, but I was excited when he said he was going to run for pres, just because he actually had some business experience. I don’t understand it... Most American people expect politician’s to create jobs, and most of these politicians have never had a job.

At least he has worked in the private sector and knows what it takes to run a succesful busniess, even if it wasnt quite legal. I love how some of the law makers in this country have never held a job or owned a busniess.

I like it! But what do I know... My DD is purple!

I think its cool that they killed one of the "cool" colors. Hopefully another color will replace it. Dodge did something similar with the SRT4, and you can sometime pin down the year by color alone.

I remember when Jalopnik was about cars... ohh how I miss those days.

YES! I always clicked on them because they went away. I wish I had got some screen captures of adds and the storys that where directly below them...

I think one of the cruelest was that whoever sells Jalopnik'ss add's sold a BUNCH of adds to Toyota to advertise the prius. Toyota got screwed on that one! Real jalops have no interest in a overrated overweight hybrid. Don't have a link or a screen capture but who am I kidding, they would never add this one to the

I used the Canadian jalopnik until it died. Im getting used to the new format, but really prefer the old jalopnik. To me it seems some web designer convinced them they could make it "more fancy" and give them more room for adds. I know adds are how they make their money, but for the longest times it was adds for

Right, and if you pursue getting it back, the guy that stole it or bought it and knew it was stolen may very well be found. The guy that owns the car now, can sue the guy that he bought it from on ebay. If the ebay buyer bought it say 5 years before he can go back and sue the guy he bought it from. But eventually, it

I dont see anything in this article saying he had insurance on the car when it was stolen, so he may have not received a dime when it was stolen. If he did have insurance and they paid out, the insurance company owns it as they paid out on the claim. The insurance company should get it back. Once they have it in their
