My local paper put out their recommendations. I generally consult those, even if I don't agree with them (they're generally pretty informative). I couldn't even bring myself to vote for Republican judges, no matter how insignificant that vote may seem or how heartily the paper endorsed them (they're pretty balanced).…

Anecdotal, but I’m a resident in a (very) rural county in Iowa 4. Early voting has always been easy and accessible here, but turnout as of today is already higher than it was in the 2016 presidential election. That bodes pretty well for folks trying to unseat incumbents in an off-year election.

Jesus, if they’re forcing King to play defense in Iowa of all places....just keep donating to candidates where you can.

True, but he’s been a little more coded about his beliefs in the past. Steve King outed himself and the GOP as the party of Nazi sympathizers, and while people may be okay with some of the shittier aspects of the GOP platform, Nazism is a step too far.
