The radiator has dual fans, if you’re talking about the fan in the interior shot of the car that isn’t the radiator, those are the intercoolers for the turbos.  The radiator is still up front with two electric fans in a pull configuration.

Because the Cadillac drivetrain was FWD so they could repurpose it for a rear engined application more easily. If they could get a cheap transaxle for an LS I assume they would have done it.
