How short are we talking here? I’ve heard that shorts above the knees are very in-style these days. Seriously. Apparently it’s out of fashion to have shorts that go below the knees. Can anyone confirm?

Batman vs...Terry Bogard?

They all just remind me of Majora’s Mask.

Really wish they made some splattered ink special edition console for this. If it was orange and blue and green and red and it looked like it got splattered as it would be in the game, then I’d be all over this.

That first level demo had me sold. The speed, the lighting, the freaking whale!! And then I beat it which was cool. And then I went back to it a few years later...ouch.

So it sounds like Splatoon was a big hit with you.

Mark me down as one of the few that REALLY like this. The modernization of the Storm Trooper looks dope to me. They made them cool instead of just looking like a bunch of idiots waiting to get shot.

I know it doesn’t qualify for the list, but my favorite “video game(ish)” movie is probably Edge of Tomorrow. It played out exactly like a video game. So good.

I mistook the game for “God Hand” when I read the article title, but could you even imagine a God Hand anime? That would be something special.

It would be awesome if they could somehow incorporate Sega’s R360 with Star Wars.

Watching that faceplate commercial is like pouring salt on an open wound. It would be nice if they could just make faceplates for the New XL. They’d probably make a buttload of money, too.

It would be interesting to see hardware sales for the same period. Those must be abysmal.

I remember buying it for PSP and also getting Wipeout for PS3 when they gave us free games. I can’t say I’m a fan of the series. I never liked the floatiness of the controls after playing F-Zero X on N64. It seems hugely popular, though, so I always felt like I was missing something about it.

My local grocery store (HEB for y’all, you know who you are) had them stocked bottom to top of the aisle end cap today. Got two packs. Oh yeah.

It released on WiiWare first. He didn’t say the gameplay was “two dimensional,” he said it was a 2D RTS, which it is. One dimensional would imply it was only played on one axis.

There are exactly 64 likes for this post, as there should be. Please, let’s leave it at that, people.

Almost posted this one myself.

Why isn’t it “batting a round?” I thought “batting around” sounded like “screwing around” where I pictured a bunch of guys just throwing balls around and hitting them any which way on the field.

Can we be expecting another swift apology from the Honda president shortly after release?
