Let’s be serious here. Her husband is not paying her because she is a “mom.” He is paying her because she is attractive, keeps herself in good shape, and pleases him. Part of that includes being a mother and keeping the kids out of his hair. But, don’t fool yourself into thinking that these mothers don’t all have

Back about 15 years ago I use to stop in at a local McDonalds for breakfast a couple times a week. I would get there maybe 20 minutes before the switch from breakfast to lunch menu, and after a bit I noticed something that went on just after the switch. The staff would pull all the remaining breakfast sandwiches off

Instead of tossing the bouquet, I handed it to my good friend who was getting married a few months after me, and had everyone toast her and her fiancé. She took the ribbon and little jewel pins from my bouquet and had them incorporated into her bouquet, then did the same thing I did, handed her bouquet off to her

Witnessed: My gentleman’s cousin did a different take on the bouquet toss at her wedding, and invited basically everyone onto the floor. Her “bouquet” was basically a fistful of silk flowers, and before she tossed it, she wished for everyone present to find or keep a love as sustaining and true as the one she’d found.

Kisses! WITH MY FIST!

I thought it was so that we’d have somebody to operate the firearms and power tools.

My mother did this to me once. “I’ll help you raise it.”

Never, ever take advice from a person who tells you “babies don’t need stability, they just love you.”

Oh god, my SO’s (very liberal, very sweet) mother asked me last year how my mother felt about having two daughters who were almost 30, unmarried and without children. Between us we joined the army, got 2 BAs, 2 MA’s and learned to manage other human beings in our 20’s. I have no idea how we could have possibly fit in

Attention, parents of millennials (or tail-end gen x-ers as it were): nobody can effing afford anything-weddings, babies, rent, food... Help out with all those labor rights you worked on rolling back and then we can talk. Maybe. “Finally” got married to LT partner at 33, very low-key deal, and still have not produced

Honestly, unless your parents are helping you pay for it, how can young people even afford weddings? If you graduate with 60-100k in student loans, then yeah, your wedding is probably on the back burner. Nothing makes me want to vom more than when a chick tells me her parents paid for the whole thing.

In a long term relationship. No marriage. No children..

100% agree. She is avoiding doing a very simple thing, a thing that is the “right thing to do” and her sentence was extremely lenient, and she faces much worse consequences if she doesn’t do it. She has every reason to do the community service. But she’s either not going to do it or she is leaving it until the last

Do the damn hours? Actually I’d prefer if she does the damn time. It’s pretty disgusting that a celebrity can get away with blatantly flouting the law for years when a normal person would be under the jail by now. There are people doing 10-12 years for marijuana possession right now. Fuck Lindsay Lohan.

I’m not sure why some feminists feel the need to mock domestic things like ironing, cooking, baking, etc.

100% real... I feel like they wanted to say 100% real beef but legally couldn’t so they made up the annoying significant other gag to interrupt before he could make that claim. Also, why is this even the Hamburglar? He’s not stealing burgers, he’s not doing anything Hamburglar-y. WHY?

I believe he was going to say “100% real disappointment, like my parents have in regards to me.”

Frankly, there’s nothing new and it doesn’t look very funny, so ABC’s determination to go ahead with developing the show in the face of protest from the MRC and a host of religious groups and leaders looks like a cultural thumb in the eye.

Fat AND happy here. I’m just a few years and a few pounds more than you. I love fashion and have clothing, shoes, and accessories that I love and tend to err to the side of “dressy” in most situations. I love to wear makeup and try out new hairstyles. I am also pretty outgoing and a performer. My skinny to average

“We’re not paying that much money to have black people live in the building.” If it’s white tenants only, it’s clean. I know it’s a little bit racist...
