You say some folks are reaching for the Back button, meanwhile I’m <rightclick> <Open in new tab>

You kid, but this is why I will trust Ford and GM’s AV systems before any of the startups testing in the southwest. I’m picking the system developed to handle a Michigan winter before the system developed on the picturesque roads of the American SW 10/10 times.

and plus, when the electric and ICE vans are on the same plaftorm, I don’t doubt they eventually could pretty easily convert the ICE ones to electric when it comes time for a major service.

I’ll say Santino is a racist scumbag and leave it at that.

*looks around at all the Confederate Battle flags in the infield and parking lot any NASCAR event*...

Almost like some governing body, with oversight powers, should produce a standard, and force everyone to conform to it. Maybe, say, let’s think out of the box, that governing body could be ... the government.

Electric cars are one of the major reasons why I wish all the different car companies and maybe the government would just get together and decide on some standards, specifically a standard plug for charging the darn things. I don’t need a Ford-specific gas pump to refuel my Thunderbird, so I most certainly do not want

plug compatibility that’s far more confusing than it should be, (...) and having to decide which charging network you should belong to.

Your last paragraph is the argument for govt to set a universal charging standard which would be a boon to consumers and companies alike. I hope we get there sooner than later.

Yet another example of how EV charging networks being proprietary is just capitalism shooting itself in the foot. Apparently every manufacturer needs to build its own redundant charging network, because the only version of success they’ll accept is vertical integration and “killing Tesla.” As if cooperation on this

Well if all your engines blow in a race, maybe its YOU and not the engine builder that messed em up. The engine builder’s other motors in this race didnt blow.....

I’m going to disagree w/ you. I stumbled on these during air travel a few months ago and they were amazing sitting in the airport and on the plane. To confirm, I ordered more as soon as we landed and they were waiting when I got home. Still amazing and better than Haribo, I’ve completely switched.

Oh, you made a funny!

Neutral: Is Michigan Full Of Shit?

The Duramax was developed in conjunction with Isuzu. While the partnership is dissolved, the engine still dates back to those days. It has proven itself to be more than up to snuff with the competition.

Maybe the Lawyers should also go after K&R for inventing the C language used to write Bosch’s engine management software, cause you know they’re definitely involved too...

Sadly, Trump’s proclamation that he’s going to revitalize Detroit with his non specific plan of “New factories, roads, bridges and schools everywhere”, is only the second biggest crock of shit a politician has told the people of Michigan this year.

“Better school”? The Wolverines are a top 5 program, have a coach with strong NFL ties, play in the biggest stadium in the country and have a huge nationwide fanbase. Michigan is also respected academically, unlike Alabama and Clemson. What’s “better than Michigan” mean to you? UCLA or something? I’m confused as you

Snorted water on my monitor with this one. The competitive nature of Southeast Michiganders would result in a huge “AS IF.” That said, when I do see someone trying to merge, I do give him space - the expense of that Sierra HD crawling up my ass. And it would be nice if more would exercise that stick on the left side

In Grand Rapids, they realized it was easier to give simple instructions than to call it a zipper merge. There is a sign a mile before the lane ends that says “Use both lanes to merge point” and then where the lane ends is a sign saying “Merge Here” in big bold letters. It actually worked, which is shocking.
