My 1988 Plymouth Voyager (yep, used to be my mom's) threw a rod at 86000 miles and wound up dead on the side of the Crosstown in the Twin Cities. I was on a date on the way back from a concert. The minivan didn't impress her, and neither did its demise. My dad had to come pick us up.

really depends on how deep the recline goes for backseat shenanigans.

AVL, not DVL.

1st Gear:

For Lexus, because both put you right to sleep. That's what I thought of those LS ads for the Mark Levinson sound system, anyways.

I agree with this. It already has infrastructure routes (roads, sewer, water supply, power) for a city with twice the population. Higher elevation to avoid polar ice cap melting, access to abundant fresh water, just outside of immediate danger of Yellowstone, and no major fault lines.

Corvette. Unless you're a huge fan of fast, French warships, then it means something else. But I'm sure a vast majority these days only know it as the car.

Pretty sure Volvo is a big proponent of the right-sided gas tank because of it being safer on the side of the road if you're filling from a gas can.

Sounds like their plan to increase tourism worked splendidly.

Would've been fun to see Buckminster Fuller included. He apparently took 2 hour naps throughout the day in order to work through the night.

That stitching is pretty bad, but I wouldn't mind them using glove leather for seats. I love that smell! (I was always the kid smelling his glove in right field instead of paying attention to the game.)

Yeah, I got in touch with the Cruze Talk rep and the dealer did "double-check" the issue and they contend they still couldn't recreate it. Though going through Cruze Talk can be effective, since my friend has elevated it to a director in the Quality department, I think I've hit the fast track. We'll see.

all over the place. Start driving, needle moves up incrementally over time. It'll then drop rapidly to a new point then start rising again. After a fill-up it will drop rapidly but then raise again if I let the car sit. I took pictures and a video of the rapid drop and sent them to my friend who works at GM.

I hope the Chevy Cruze gets recalled soon for the inaccurate fuel gauge. Because my 2011 Cruze has an inaccurate fuel gauge. Dealer didn't fix it when I took it in ("couldn't replicate the problem"), and I'm about 250 miles from the end of warranty.

FTFY. The "jackass" is always implied, and quotes around "fan" and "fans" because no one that goes to the games actually cares.

In a way, you're both driving Volkswagens.

Make sure Sweden doesn't play there. Everyone in Columbus is the polar opposite of "polite" when blue and yellow are worn together.

Lindbergh did have a small periscope to look forward if needed. Still, only a peep-hole level of forward vision.

I've noticed Panchero's has been mentioned a bit here. I didn't read everything, but there are some great differentiators with Panchero's that make it I think a worthy competitor, though tougher to find than Chipotle or Qdoba.

Neutral: After working at an OEM for a while, I believe it all. When it costs X amount to introduce a new part number or even a revision, there's pressure to avoid doing that to save money, especially if it's the only part that's changing and if it's only a perceived minor update that doesn't change the price of the
