Yet another reason why I support autonomous vehicles. In addition to probably having fewer accidents in general, robots can be programmed to not slow down should an accident occur in the opposite lane. I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.

and they were using leaded fuel until 2007.

Northwest flew a number of DC-10s, and I always enjoyed my time in those. I liked having the 2-5-2 seating because of the 2 seats on the window side. Always able to only sit with a travel partner rather than a partner and some stranger. Nice when I was a kid and I could sit with my mom or dad.

Obligatory second Blake Hoffarber shot. Not as spectacular, but still a hell of a shot.

There have been flame wars back and forth about Novak's strategy here, and I think this may be a watershed moment. Novak himself is a proponent of a shot clock - he has been for years - and he definitely made a statement about how not having one can really make a game boring and seem against the "spirit of the game."

While Cadillac is doing fine, Lincoln needs a massive push and the Presidential Limo would be just that. No convertible of course...

Too bad Navistar is on the rocks at this point. This thing in the Harley-Davidson package with a ISX under the hood is about as American as it comes (though it's made in Mexico, I'm sure they could put together a one-off this side of the border)

Republicans all say that government intervention is bad, yet they yell at them for not intervening.

I had the opportunity to talk with a salesman from Capricorn at a conference once. They first started as a garage to help maintain vintage vehicles for "Gentleman Drivers" for track-days and Mille Miglia and the like. This eventually led to a need to make otherwise irreplaceable components for the vintage engines, and

Better enforcement/following of the passing lane rules. I like no speed limits, but it will totally suck if we have to keep braking behind idiots who cruise at slower speeds in the passing lane. There's no active enforcement of it, even though it is emphasized in Driver's Ed and in the state license books. (at least

Not sure if you ever do a border run and have grabbed President's Choice Jamaican-Style Ginger Beer. Faygo needs to make that so I don't have to go to Canada every time I get the craving.

I like how your frame of reference is from a driver's perspective, not the vehicle.

Dodge Duster. This is more of a literal interpretation of "dirty."

Neutral: Aluminum has nothing to do with it. It's a truck, and it will still be a truck, therefore you'll need a baritone. Preferably one with a southern accent. Trace Adkins currently does the voiceover for the Firestone ads, and I think he'd be an easier catch than to get Sam Elliott away from RAM.

LeDuff used to write for the New York Times and also the Detroit News. He is quite the independent soul, and his type of journalism definitely doesn't fit the traditional Fox "News" model. He's one of a few higher profile people trying to shed a light on what is actually happening in Detroit and trying to buck the

I think you just gave Big Tire an idea to try and lobby northern state legislatures to mandate snow tires. Thanks a bunch, jerks.

Neutral - All reports I've seen are that enough of the rank and file support the measure. Also bear in mind that VW invited the UAW to put this "works council" together to bring the Chattanooga factory in line with their German counterparts.

It's a horse that essentially runs sprints. 1/4 mile races, compared to the Thoroughbred races which go for over a mile.

Not sure if anyone posted the latest Lincoln MKZ Hybrid superlative "Starting price exactly the same as its gas mileage." I think this one is a bit annoying because it's entirely not a feature, and it's something nobody ever actually looks for or considers when buying a car.
