It was nice of OP to include his process so that other people can confirm. That’s some peer-reviewed scholarly article type shit.

If they’re going to do that then why not just remove monetization from the accounts that refuse to sign the contract?

The question then becomes, “why would they do that?” The only feasible reason why they’d put their videos behind wall 3 and lose views as a result is because they’re getting considerable compensation from Youtube to do it.

Today, the overwhelming majority of our partners, representing nearly 99-percent of the content watched on YouTube, have signed up. Videos of partners who don’t update their terms will be made private

If compensating people to review your product without them expressly stating that they are being compensated in their review is illegal then wouldn’t this be just as, if not more, illegal?

I wouldn’t bother. I couldn’t sit through that shit. The amount of pandering to otaku in Lucky Star is ridiculous and totally off-putting even if you understand all of the references being made. It isn’t so much about it having references, it’s how it’s done. Gintama has loads of references and cleverly incorporates

How do you mean? Maybe Brian Ashcraft or some other Kotaku user or writer who lives in Japan can give a more informed answer, but based on everything I’ve heard, Japan is a pretty exclusionary nation. They’ve never really taken kindly to outsiders.

It is, without a doubt, morally bankrupt, but I’m not sure if it’s more damaging to the country. Bribery can range from accepting $20 to look the other way on a speeding offense to taking thousands of dollars to pass a law for the benefit of a specific industry. One is clearly more damaging than the other. There’s

You’re completely side-stepping the fact that bribery =/= treason. Are you even reading at this point or are you copying and pasting previous comments? I feel like I’m conversing with one of those automated phone lines.

See my other response to StevenG. What StevenG is describing is bribery, a form of political corruption, not treason. The crime itself is not as serious and the punishment is much more lenient.

You’re not helping an enemy state, you’re not selling state secrets, you’re not doing anything directly doing anything for a foreign state. You’re doing it for a company or industry. It’s bribery, a form of political corruptness, not treachery.

Hanging is barbaric and no longer practiced in the US. Furthermore, taking bribes isn’t considered treason. Article 3 Section 3 of the US constitution clearly lays out the definition for treason:

I’m not going to call you an idiot, though your reading comprehension needs some work. If anyone is wondering how much each employee would get per day, it’s $37. Enough to keep the library open for another couple hours, assuming all of the 8 million was poured into keeping the library open longer rather than things

Hanged? It seems a bit harsh. Investigated, fired, tried by a jury of their peers for corruption or taking bribes, and sentenced to jail time? Certainly.

Then we’ll both besuper saiyan god super saiyan

Unlike in the US, where there’s an abundance of different races, Japan is extremely Japanese. From Wikipedia:

I completely agree. The editing is poor throughout, but the one of Snake carrying D-Dog is ungodly levels of bad. It totally ruined otherwise fantastic photos. I wonder if the cosplayers or photographer has unedited (or toned-down) photos.

That’s an incredibly naive point of view. If there’s anything that the recent rash of sandbox survival games (DayZ, WarZ, Ark, Rust, etc.) have taught me, it’s that people will grief whenever possible, even if it’s in their benefit not to do so. They’ll use the bullets that you just peacefully traded with them to

Ark has been absolutely fantastic up to this point. The devs have been very diligent about getting updates out in a timely manner and without gamebreaking bugs. There’s a lot to do in Ark, but it’s the sort of game where you make your own fun. If you don’t like Terraria, Minecraft, and the like, then you might not

It’s impossible to make Fillion more handsome. He just looks a decade younger in Halo.
