I'm not talking about what could have been, but what is. She may not be as amazing as 2K originally let on, but her scripted events are pretty great, and there is certainly a lot of development. I'm referring to Elizabeth as a character, and not as a gameplay mechanic.

And no, it's not their job to research every ounce of the game to see what it is and if it even works.

The change in tone is welcome, I never took L4D as a serious zombie shooter anyway. It plays like an arcade game, so this is a pretty good fit.

I'm actually fairly certain that Early Access games don't appear in the "New Releases" section of the front page. The two most recently release Early Access games (released yesterday and today) aren't on my list at all, though they do appear if I search by genre.

Agreed, it's pretty good for finding new indies. On top of that, a lot of the devs on there are kind enough to provide a Steam key if it gets greenlit after your purchase.

Wee-woo wee-woo "Come out with your hands up or we will open fire!"

I'm not sure that I agree with that. In any other story-telling medium (books, film, music,) there is narrative which tells you exactly what is happening, or at the very least, what a certain character believes is happening. Even games in which people have stated that they tell their own stories (open world RPGs)

They kind of tie the game in to the Bioshock universe in the last five minutes of the game, before that you could argue that it has nothing to do with the first two in any way. I'd recommend getting Infinite when it is in a deep discount. I don't think that Columbia is as interesting as Rapture, but they did a pretty

If Halo can get an RTS and top-down shooter then Bioshock can get an isometric RPG. Mighty 2K, hear my prayers!

Powerpuff Girls fanart where they aren't adults with very sexual features? Is this real life?

I was there, I can confirm that this actually happened.

I'll pass, but thanks. For the past few months I've been Moba-ed out, I haven't even touched LoL since December.

I couldn't get DaggerXL working correctly on my system for some reason. The damn thing crashed every thirty minutes. It's too bad, I would've loved to experience it. Maybe some day Bethesda or a crazy talented mod team will bring it to life in a new standalone game.

The same is possible in League. It's not so much that characters are set in stone, it's that their kit is geared towards a specific role. In a straight team fight (or even smaller skirmishes) having a support as your carry tends to put the team at a disadvantage because they aren't designed to do damage, but that

I didn't really get in to DotA 2. I think it's more about the hassle of having to learn an entirely new game than anything else. I'm lazy like that.

I'd say that 3/4 of the time, given the choice, I go with female characters. My choice of female characters started with fighting games; generally speaking females are faster than males and that just suited my play-style. Eventually however, I got around to playing MMOs and games where gender didn't have any bearing

Imagine how it'd be if you walked up to someone at your job and screamed in their face that they were a faggot jew and you were going to track them down at home and kill them. It wouldn't be okay, right? People would say something, there'd be outcry as soon as you started yelling, you'd get called into an office,

As a PC gamer, I know how that feels. Shitty ports abound.

I don't remember the invisible walls in Far Cry 3, then again, I never tried to get out of the game world. I just assumed that an unavoidable shark would come and eat you.

The foliage is more diverse and a lot denser. On top of that, the path from the dock is less like a dirt road and more like a path cut through the Jungle. Probably the biggest thing is the shadows though. In the E3 demo you can clearly see that the shadows are sharper and actually move with the thing casting shadows
