Confirmed: Bobsplosion is on Kotaku's payroll as "official gif guy."

They don't have text commands anymore? That's just silly. Knowing how to use the text commands made me feel like "teh haxors".

I heard that's an issue with a lot of the PS1 FF ports. I play all of my PS1 games through my PC's DVD drive now so I wouldn't really know how it was originally.

I've never played FF6. I have it for PS1, I just never got around to it. It's kind of sad considering that it is often referred to as the best Final Fantasy.

This, in spite of knowing that he did work hard for the money. Money makes things complicated like that, sometimes. There is also stigma about certain types of work being worth more than others, and there's certainly a stigma about games being frivolous—which can make it easy to see why someone might feel guilty about

Yeah, see which works for you. I didn't notice an increase in XP when bringing my low level characters in to a high level world. In regards to skills: when getting power leveled I don't even bother looking at my skills or equipment until I get to the last 5 levels (was 55 now 65.)

Not a Good Match For: Those who want a game that's easy to finish—the final act of Bravely Default is a slog, and finishing the game becomes something of an endurance test.

We didn't really cover FTL enough back when it came out on PC, so, a brief recap. FTL was originally released in 2012 for PC, Mac and Linux. It was the result of a phenomenally successful Kickstarter and was an early success for crowdfunded game development. FTL went on to be beloved by players and acclaimed by

This seems kind of strange to me given how frequently east Asian countries borrow slang terms from other languages. I know for a fact that both Japanese and Korean language is peppered with English, so I would imagine that Korean slang also includes Japanese words. The idea of censoring a language is also outrageous

I'm not fan of pandering or fan service, but I do like kung-fu movies that don't use quadruple front flip kicks. Maybe I'll check it out when (if) it sees a localization.

I quite liked Forward Unto Dawn. It wasn't perfect, but it was certainly entertaining and it did a good enough job with the characters that I felt something for them. Was there ever any follow-up to that series?

It's nice that Battlship Island is seeing some use, but I'm a bit concerned. As you can see in the images above, the island is covered in modern buildings. Does this mean that they'll A) knock down the current buildings to make room for the film's buildings B) Somehow alter the story so that having apartment buildings

I thought they'd changed the way that experience worked so that it was scaled down to your level. IMO 1-60 it is more effective to have the lower level character host the game and crank the difficulty up to torment 5.

I was on my own, my friends leveled without me the night of release. =(

Well I did all of the events and killed stuff that I encountered, but I didn't 100% every area. As soon as I saw the exit I took it.

Yeah, I actually reset before reaching Malthael so that I could get a legendary. The one I got was crap anyway, but w/e.

I tried playing on torment 1, but my level 60 gear become obsolete very quickly and I ended up getting one shotted by blues at 65.

I think that the first point you brought up was the biggest thing for me when LucasArts was shut down. It was unfortunate to see the LucasArts name disappear, but the studio that I once adored has been dead a lot longer.

Yeah, I don't think it's possible to hit 70 before beating him unless you keep resetting the chapter. I played through on Master and was also 68.

How dare you change the DeLorean!? In all seriousness though, I'd imagine that licensing costs for including the DeLorean would be a costly and unnecessary addition, especially considering that kids today won't have any idea what a DeLorean is.
