I had one of these too. I wouldn't be surprised if my grandmother still has it.

It will probably be a highlight game which takes all the important parts from the core games and cuts out the rest.
Honestly, if indie developers were to crank up the prices a bit to pay for the development of a better game then I wouldn't mind paying the higher price. Some of my favorite games (Bastion, Super Meat Boy, and more) are indie games, and I would've gladly spent more on them.
If only I knew Japanese. I could get so many games. Think of all the JRPGs.
No, I absolutely agree, there is a lot which can be done in indie games. Even free and cheap engines (like Unreal Engine 3 and Unity) can put out impressive visuals. The thing is that it generally takes more know-how to make attractive HD sprites or 3d models. For some people, it is a possibility, but for most…
That's not a mod; it's a compilation of mods, gathered from different sources and put in to one file. I think that disqualifies it. Anyway, the mods in there are hardly the best around. Mo Creatures, More Creeps and Weirdos, and the Aether mod all vie for best Minecraft mod, IMO.
Using pirated software to create a commercial product is really dangerous (as if it wasn't illegal enough for personal use.) I'm sure that if you make money off of piece of software made with a certain tool then they would check your license.
Yeah, Overgrowth is taking a while, but I'm not surprised, it is a pretty big project. I've been thinking about buying it. Lugaru was pretty cool.
Sure, you can get 10 people to do the artwork for you, but that also means that you have to pay 10 more people. Considering that indie games don't generally make millions of dollars, it is much easier for the developer(s) to just do the artwork themselves. Most indie gamers aren't very picky about the art style, so…
Sweet Jesus, this may give me a reason to reinstall Starcraft 2. I liked Warcraft 2 and 3 significantly more than Starcraft and its expansion.
Damn, I forgot to put Hope up there; between Sora and Tidus.\.
That would probably net the most money for Nintendo. Maybe for one of their future iterations, but I would feel bad for anyone who bought it beforehand.
I more or less agree with a Final Fantasy list as long as: 13 is near the bottom, 4,5 and 6 are near the top, 7 and 8 are relatively close, and 10 is significantly below 8.
For some reason, dual analog sticks are a very difficult concept to grasp. My father played Halo: CE and Counter-Strike on the PC all the time, but when he tried playing Halo 2 on Xbox he couldn't. My sister, and a non-gamer older family member had similar problems when they tried to play twin-stick games.
I'm primarily a pc gamer. Generally, only time you'll find me playing on a console is to play exclusives; unless the PC port was complete garbage, I'm looking at you Dark Souls.
The Ouya has a better CPU and GPU, but 1GB less RAM. Then again, you can probably add RAM at a later date since it is fully hackable. On paper it looks good, but since I don't have a developer console, I'll need to wait until spring to test the actual performance.
lol, well yeah. Although Unreal Engine 3 and 4 are both impressive, it really comes down to the developer's ability. Unity isn't the most high-def engine I've ever seen, but it can put out some pretty nice visuals when put in the right hands.
After the Russian takeover of Colorado maybe.
This isn't a bad idea. I would support developers if they wanted to do this, so long as it doesn't interfere with the difficulty of the other game modes.
I agree that people like to be spoon-fed everything now, but I have to disagree with your overall message.
