My god, that was terrible, unfunny, and a complete waste of time.

I think that’s the problem with making anime when the manga isn’t close to being finished. The the show picks up, but the first season stops when the story is getting good.

Agreed completely. He’s the willing public face of a terrifying organization, but god damn I love his movies. I dislike Tom Cruise the person, but I just can’t bring myself to hate Tom Cruise the actor.
