So you didn’t see any black ops going on? Hmmm I wonder why?

Doesn’t have to be the case. It could just as easily result in people making utter crap and let money roll in. In fact, by adding monetary incentive, it might just push passion out the window, and we get the next Steam Greenlight: shovelware after shovelware of mysteriously up-voted bad games/mods that wind up being…
I wouldn’t pay for any mod I’ve ever installed. The guy who thinks he could make a million because his mods are heavily downloaded apparently has no idea how hard it is to convince people to pay for something when it goes from free to paid.
I’ve been waiting for the nostalgic return of PS one and N64 style graphics. I feel like there’s genuinely something neat that can by done in these styles.
I like TB, but there are some aspects I don’t like about him as well. His focus on “objectivity” is noble and is definitely useful when it comes to things like PC optimization/graphical options, but I’ve come to view that creed as more limiting than anything. I find that aggregating a complete view on a game actually…

Eh, Ellen Page had a better argument.
I don't know why so many games shake the screen when action happens. I watched the video and it looks great, but whenever the character hits an enemy everything shakes. It's hard (for me) to keep up with, and I feel like it doesn't contribute anything IMHO. I don't know, maybe I'm just old and fragile.
I swear you'd think that some of these indie games are made by the same devs.
There’s such a thing as situational depression, though. In other words, you can be free of any definitive mental illness entirely but being harassed or hurt on a daily basis can induce suicidal feelings. And it doesn’t take long. Weeks, months. A person can go from never having a suicidal thought in their lives to…

Excited for this one, Richard. It was your article naming S;G as one of the best anime ever that got me to finally cave and watch an anime series for the first time. I didn’t trust anime to tell a coherent, complex story, and this blew away my (admittedly low) expectations.
Errr near perfect? I felt like I was stuck in a very small playground with nothing to play with. Plus, those boss battles ugh.
I think glitches to the extent of wall jumping, etc. make for interesting speedruns. Stuff like item duping and other pre-setup stuff always strikes me as uninteresting/boring/outside of the spirit of many speedruns.

VR isn't just about realism, it's also about comfort. Look at the HoloLens, one of it's perks it that it basically gives you a infinite sized desktop. Don't tell me a infinite sized screen would be bad for games.
The proper response was, "Well, excuuuuuuuuse me, Princess!"
Thing is, this wasn't reported as a rumor. This was reported as fact, even going as far as saying that Netflix was describing it as Game of Thrones for a family audience. And now we're hearing that this story is just an unsubstantiated rumor?
