In which case, I have to wonder why they're showing off such high-resolution screen shots at this stage.

Most people seem to have forgotten about Radix, so it's nice to see it mentioned. I actually preferred it to Descent, just because it was more like an FPS with freedom-of-movement rather than some sort of space shooter stuck in some corridors.
Everything you'll ever learn in school can also be found online somewhere. School is good for getting diplomas/degrees, which can help you get jobs, but that doesn't mean you have to wait in order to start learning (unless you really don't have any time). Anyway, I hope things work out for you. Game design can be…
I'm one of those "weird" sorts who play games for the story and gameplay variety rather than the challenge (ie. Even when I can handle a harder difficulty, I generally play on "normal" so that the flow of the game isn't interrupted).
Ah, that's cool. Have you released any games yet that I could check out?
The "political stunt" theory sounds reasonable. There doesn't seem to be any other good reason for a law like that. I wonder how likely it is to backfire, though. If Russia gets enough hate from other countries and corporations, maybe it will start to affect trade and tourism to a noticeable degree.
Ah, lucky. I take my time too, but when I've gotten 90% of the collectible whatevers in a game, I don't usually feel particularly motivated to seek out the rest. If a game is engaging enough, I'll play through multiple times, but collecting for the sake of collecting or trying to get achievements just so I can say I…
Well, that's part of the reason I'm not actually protesting, just commenting on an article about a game that popped up on a site I frequent.
I'm sure that's part of it. Self-control seems pretty rare when it comes to spending habits. I tend to buy games during Humble Bundle sales when they're pay-what-I-want and I still only buy the ones I really want to play. I rarely spend over $5 on a game.
Looking at another English translation of the law on a different site, you're right that I do not see the word "homosexual".
Well, it really has nothing to do with homosexuality. Cross-dressers and figure skaters are not all gay, and gay people are not all cross-dressers or figure-skaters. This is just...random weirdness. I don't know what else to call it. Anyway, it's an incredibly simplistic and boring game (Thought I should try it before…
I'm not American, but I'll comment.
My original point was just that things like that don't help the cause of human equality and acceptance at all, not that they do a lot to hurt it. I can see why my reaction might've come across as overly-sensitive, though. My writing often seems to come across that way.
Not specifically making fun of them, but what I mean is that we're meant to look at that and think it's stupid/funny. What is it that's supposed to be stupid/funny about it? Well, it's what he's doing and what he's wearing. That's a big part of the joke here.
While I find the Russian government's current treatment of homosexuals pretty despicable, I'm not sure a game that makes fun of both male figure-skaters and cross-dressers is really a great way to make a point. Trying to support one group of people by making others into a joke (Putin, cross-dressers, male…
Finally playing UnEpic. I'm probably about half done and I'm finding it a pretty enjoyable Castlevania-like game. There were a couple of areas that were annoying, and the bosses so far are nothing amazing, but it's mostly fun.
And, you know, his knuckles...his gliding ability...his very different personality...
Oh wow. I can't believe I didn't catch the blue arm thing.
Oh wow. I...really didn't expect that...
Since you're here, I'll mention that I love the screenshot of all those houses partially stuck together. Creepy, surreal worlds are awesome and your team seems to be doing a great job with that aspect of the game.
