Well, there are a lot of mountains and lakes to deal with in Minecraft, but yeah. Seems his videos are about half an hour long and only released once a week, so I guess that explains it.

Exactly. She's supposed to look beat down and scared, not all prettied up, and certainly not tough that early on in the game. There was also a nice softness to her face that's missing in the new version.

Wow. I absolutely hate the new look for Lara. Reminds me of what that FakeFactory Cinematic mod for HL2 did to Alyx, completely losing the character in the process.

Assuming they haven't added more quick-time events in this version, no. There are scattered events in the game, but they're usually very short and the buttons required aren't randomized like in many games. You're never fumbling to figure out which button to press because it generally matches up pretty well with the

lol. Yeah, I loved how people used the standard messages in unexpected ways like that (although I probably should've expected it in this case).

Random ideas:

2D (with sprites or hand-drawn art) or Prime style. I feel like a lot of 2.5D games are missing the charm that comes with great 2D art. If they do make another Prime-style game, I'd love to see it have a lot of natural, outdoor areas like in the first Prime (loved that initial landing area on the planet).

Yeah. I liked the flashlight in...I think it was STALKER. It was actually placed above your eyes and off to the side a bit, which felt more natural and meant that you could actually see the shadows it cast.

Me too, and I loved it. The environments, despite the lack of variety, were my favourite part of Doom 3. I really hope the current flashlight is just a placeholder, though. That looked terrible to me.

Ah. Knew I had to be missing something. I always had to go through one of the genres first. Didn't think searching for nothing would actually work. Thanks.

Ah. Thanks for the info. I think I knew that at some point and completely forgot about it, somehow. Anyway, in that case, what I find strange is that the list of new releases has a "Show Downloadable Content" checkbox while the other lists don't. I like an interface's controls to remain consistent across similar pages.

Yeah. I'm just thinking it'll take a while. Changing the layout is one thing. Changing the underlying code, especially code that has to do analysis and return decent suggestions, is a bit more time-consuming. Hopefully they'll do it, though.

I love the idea of having things tailored to my interests, but they'd have a lot of work to do if they wanted to implement that. Their current "suggestion" setup doesn't work that well. Every item is "On sale from your wishlist." I'd much rather have it introduce me to games I might not know about, since my wishlist

Yep. Having only one tab is incredibly limiting. I'm amazed that I used to get by browsing the Internet like that.

My main problem is not how it's arranged. It's that certain elements don't work as I'd expect them to. I browse a list of games in the Store, click on a game for info (I wish I could open it in a tab or something), then click "Back" to return to the list but it sends me to page 1 again. It's frustrating and tedious. I

That's basically what I was thinking. It seems to me that participating in a day like this is like saying I agree that violent games cause real-life violence.

Yeah, it's funny how people hated Deadly Shadows so much.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it happen before, but I can't think of any examples at the moment. I do know that, early on, the developers said something to the effect of, "You can use focus to get more loot," which is pretty terrible. If they encourage you to "cheat" to do well, that's a bit of a problem. Hopefully that

The old games had amazing free-form gameplay. With this one, the developers seem more focused on the cutscenes and adding unnecessary structure to the game (ex. limiting where you can use rope arrows), than with just giving the players tools with which to have fun.
