One thing that always freaked me out about Lost Planet and I don't know why, is the fact that the cursor seemed to move independently of the screen until it got near the edges, where as traditional shooters the cursor is always locked in the middle.

One of the things I like to do is read the manual on the way home before I play the game so I can just jump straight in. I have done and still do this with every game I buy even though most of them these days are only about 8 pages long if that. I remember getting the MASSIVE Super Metroid box with the guide in and…
