Makes sense when you put it that way. Thanks for the answer!

I read it more as a "why the fuck you asking me? I wasn't there" response than the "obviously he was cheating and she's mad" response everybody else seems to be letting their imaginations run loose with.
I've always wondered what it's like to grow up around stuff like that - whether it absolved fear of death or made it worse. But then obviously if you grew up around it you wouldn't know if it made things worse! lol
Not that I doubt you, in fact I agree with you, but.... what do you do that you've seen that many corpses? Cause I know rallying ain't THAT dangerous.
I agree about the Aztek; hideously styled but a concept ahead of its time. The world is full of car and minivan based SUVs, proving Pontiac was right.
Yeah at least once daily he drops the "I had a then new Corvette that was junk so I'm a GM EXPERT and no one else's opinion is right" speech and has done for months now.
It's definitely very high waisted, which sadly seems to be the trend these days. Everybody has to have a high cowl and short windows. I'm short so I really don't like that trend.
I kinda sorta agree. But I think they're two different types of car, each very beautiful. The F-type is the aggressive sports car and the XK is the graceful Grand tourer (excluding the XKR-S). If they'd named the F-type XK and had it as a replacement I would be pissed, but as it is I think they complement each other…
I can't remember where I read it, but supposedly (emphasis on supposedly) Cadillac is bringing the ATS coupe to Detroit. It'd be great if they had both the ATS coupe and V at the same show. With those plus the C7 Z06, GM might be able to steal alot of the F-150's thunder.
So far I've only ever bought used, usually in the under $5k range. I could buy a new car but only if I financed and I absolutely loathe having payments. So I'll only buy new when I'm in a spot where I can afford to pay cash for exactly what I want, which I'd then keep until it's ready for the scrap heap. So no, I…
"Not because he's a race driver, but as a husband and dad."
My argument for Lincoln is, there's only so many sales to be had in the RWD, sport-luxury market. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Infiniti, most of Lexus and now Cadillac, hell even Hyindai/Kia, all dividing up that pie now, and there's only so much pie to go around. There's plenty of sales in the Lexus ES/Acura/non-quatro Audi…
Not all truckers are great drivers. But sometimes we have to use our size to get people out of our way. Think of it this way: you're in your car, not getting paid by the mile, most likely on your way home from work. (Maybe not, but just go with it.) We are at work, and just like how you've got to be more productive to…
To go along with my previous comments about a truck wreck I was in, figured I might as well share another fatal truck accident story.
I think most of that "splintering" you see is the truck's nose. It's all fiberglass that breaks surprisingly easily. Trucks fall apart alot easier than you'd think.... especially in a rollover, they flatten like a tin can.
I think there was probably at least once daily where a car did something insane near my tuck, precisely because they're too stupid to realize trucks need space. A trucker can have the fastest reflexes in the world, but his truck doesn't.
Indeed.
I was in a truck involved in a somewhat similar crash. Similar as in we destroyed the car; dissimilar in that she aimed at us. Still, not a fun thing to live through, knowing there's a dead body under your truck. This video certainly stirs up some bad memories.
I've never had mine next to a new one, but just seeing them on the road I knew they were pretty close in size. But the old Dart has a much bigger trunk!
I own a 72 Dart and I'm perfectly fine with the new Dart. It slots in the same place in the line up -it's the smallest Dodge, just like in the 60s (ignoring the first Darts that were full size). And most of the folks who go on about "my brother/cousin/whatever had a Dart 340 in high school so it shouldn't be called…
