"Customized male", that's hilarious! Definetely gotta remember that if I ever end up in a conversation about transvestites, though I honestly don't remember the last time that happened.

I would think the shipping costs and import taxes would leave Ford to lose profit on EDM cars sent here. Even if it didn't lose money, it'd still bite into the profit margin and no corporation wants that, especially if they're selling all they can make without incentives on the hood.

But haven't non-turbo/WRX Subarus traditionally been on the highly underpowered end of their classes? I don't think it's much of an issue to non-enthusiasts, and being slow doesn't make them unreliable, so I think they're still recommendable. It's not like the non-turbo Forester is fast either.

Still sounds like a blast!

Perhaps our preference for pickups with the engine in front rather than a cab-over design comes from the 18-wheelers on our highways? As a (retired) trucker I can tell you we prefer "long nose" trucks because they give a better ride and more usable space to live in (most truckers are on the road 28 out of 31 days),

Even after working on military trucks and civilian 18-wheelers, then driving 18-wireless for 3 years, I never knew that about tube/tubeless tires. Makes perfect sense, I guess I just always took it as "that's just the way it is." Thanks for the lesson!

Nothing's more fun than a bob tail truck on a curvy road! Just like a sports car on stilts.

I've got a 440 with side dumps, there's plenty of rumble!

Isn't that a Cougar nose on a Challenger? That kind of fucked up, nasty cross pollination is exactly what the Equus is all about, yo.

I think the whole thing is ugly, and I'm a muscle car guy.

Those of us who drive hot rods and muscle cars have similar experiences, though probably not on the same scale, when it comes to having questions asked and folks trying to take pictures. I grew up around hot rods/street rods that we traveled in every summer so I'm kinda used to it. But just yesterday I was almost rear

I almost mentioned the Acura version in my post; I remember them, even though I've only seen 3 or so in real life.

I don't know what racing has to do with anything, but I still fail to see what's so offensive. If this was a site for kids? Yes, I'd agree with you. But this is a site aimed for adults, and as adults we see stuff more pornographic than this when we take showers.

I'm on my phone so too lazy to wiki or anything, which came first?

I think the Axiom looks great, and especially when you compare it to the SUVs of its era, the Axiom is a really clean, smooth design that still looks contemporary in 2013.

I always hear the head gasket argument against Northstars, but in my experience (used to run the shop at a used car lot and Caddies were always huge sellers for us), they're fine, unless you let that engine over heat for any reason. Then the head gasket would take a shit, but in repairing I'd find a bad water pump or

That's only porn if you like your women in burqas. Seriously, you see worse on network tv. But, excluding all of that, there's the simple fact that you know before you click a COTD story what's going to be in the comments, which allows you to not click the story. Very simple, and it avoids your easily offended eyes

Oh no, a nude back! My virgin eyes!

In my family, something like this. (Although not this one specifically.)

I have 74 & 70 year old uncles with hot rods. Those are just the oldest two, pretty much all my family have hot rods.
