I've always loved that body Riv. Saw a low mileage Supercharged one last year and tried to talk my then wife into getting it as the family car.

Coulda used mine!

Hahaha, sorry, I know it's an odd question. I'm an ex-trucker and I just always noticed folks in different areas say it differently. Around here, we really don't put "the" in front of anything...except mile-markers/exit numbers on the interstate, but I think that's a trucker thing. Or maybe not. I know a few

FUCK. YOU.

Because I'm American....

Completely unrelated, but I was wondering why do New Yorkers (or I assume you're a New Yorker, given your knowledge of these roads) always say the before every road? The FDR, The Harlem River Drive, etc. OK, so the FDR I can understand but why not say West Side highway or Harlem River drive? I've noticed Californians

340s definitely punch way above their weight compared to other motors of the same time period. Since they didn't make them for that long they're pricey when you can find them, especially if you find one in a numbers matching car, so they're out of my price range for now. 360s are great motors, once you hop them up,

They're a hell of a lot of fun with 440s in them. I say this from experience.

Well damn, I'm almost a hipster and didn't even know it. I have two Darts, one is a Swinger (but with a 440 and bucket seats) and one is a 75 with front bench (but black and with a 360).

If I'm not mistaken, the US makes automakers design cars' interiors for unbelted drivers. That means anywhere a driver or passenger might hit in an accident with no belt on has to be designed with a lower chance of fatal injury; airbags have to be designed for unbelted passengers as well. Europe doesn't have these

I love the look. I got in one on a used car lot the other day and liked the inside a lot; kind of a happy medium between my van and my car. Low step in but a fairly tall chair height, my back really appreciates not having to sit down so much. And it loses surprisingly little space compared to the van as well.

Hell I've seen kids around here proud as can be over their base model Bimmers that look like hell and hardly run that they paid over 2 grand for. Kids in your area are just spoiled!

They really do. I'm a Mopar guy but I'd definitely choose this over a Caravan/T&C, if it was available.

A grand for a running car, with working AC? That would sell in a day here, even if it had huge body damage.

I was wondering why I've never ever heard of it! You should make your own. Hell, if seemingly 95% of 72 and older Chevelle owners can clone the SS396/454, surely you could clone a Baldwin with a 73. Bonus points for probably being the only one like it!

The A500 isn't 727 based, it's 904 based.

Touche, sir. :-D

My problem's not with engineers but with this one particular engineer who, even when not reciting the same BS about his Corvette, tends to be a major asshole for no reason in damn near every comment section I see. It's just gotten really old.

Your constant mentioning of the "Corvette Z51 I bought brand new" and "I'm an engineer" at every chance is usually highly irrelevant. Ok, the C6 had bad seats. What the fuck does that have to do with a discussion about the Viper? Not much. Call this an idiot's rant all you like (you're an engineer so of course no one
