I’m sure plenty of them are pretty happy to be creating technology that will help US Army infantrymen communicate better and check their surroundings better to keep everyone involved as safe as possible, including civilians.

With vaccinations ramping up, I wonder when in-person events will start to come back? I myself have already received my first dose last week. Regardless, I’m excited for SGDQ to return this summer (even starting on my birthday)!
Honestly, I’m not a fan of how the Ultimate Edition upgrades worked, but I wish Remedy nothing but success. I loved Quantum Break, and I think the Xbox-exclusivity hurt its chances of being bigger than it was, so I’m happy to see Control make bank, even if it means me buying it twice.
Wait, 90k isn’t already blown up? Seems like more than enough to be making a shitload of money, isn’t it?
Either way, Twitch’s own fault for not catching it two years ago. Pretty scummy to ban him now.
You say that as if telling his fans "Stop it" would end it right then and there. If anything, that would just invite more harassment on both sides.
You realize tons of Streamers actively do participate and try to speak to their fans about these issues, never mind how fans in fandom also try to have conversations about these things every single time shit like this happens, right?
I mean, all things considered, he’s not exactly wrong about this:
And yet I remember each and every moment from the film.
Nah, Kong Skull Island is the best Kaiju movie. But to each their own.
I’m excited for Godzilla Vs. Kong but we all know how it will end. Kong will be near death, with Godzilla about to deliver the coup de grace, but then Kong will say “Mothra...” and ‘Zilla will be like “WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?!” and then they’ll be friends.
“I am cool with people raising money for charity as long as they don’t provoke my feelings of inadequecy by reminding me that they are trying to raise money for charity”
I mean, I’m up for anything that gets that much money raised, but I do suppose your ability to watch games played fast IS more important than ending cancer.
I disagree strongly with Mr. Spohn on his analogy with homophobic slurs. I have never seen the term “blind playthrough” used in a negative connotation or intended to slander members of the disabled community. I can empathize with his resistance to the casual, and arguably flippant, use of a term that he feels should…
RIP Amazing Randy.
I’m not really one for these kinds of arguments. They assume status quo as an immutable baseline, when we know that A) these companies have spent the better part of the last few decades stacking things in their favor, and B) continue to do so.
As somebody who has been using Game Pass for the past year, the fact that they’re locking the PSN collection to only PS5 owners is really weird.
This is always the kind of thing that scares me. Not being banned for selling something like that — it seems like a stupid idea no matter which way you look at it. But the amount of control these companies have over your games is ridiculous, and you never quite know when you’re doing something you may get banned for…
I’m pretty sure you’re being facetious, but just in case...
I voted today. It felt good. Stood in line for an hour, which compared to a lot of places is a pretty breezy wait, but got it done. I’m just so over these last four years of this place being run by shitiots.
what does it say about the state of this industry that our thoughts immediately spiral to ‘oh god what geneva convention is being violated today’ vs ‘oh shit that’s a little creepy’
