Do you think paying college players will make it more likely, less likely, or have no effect on the ability of organized crime to payoff players to shave points off of games.

AD's that are in the red are not because of football or basketball, but rather non-revenue sports. Most large football teams do very well because of the limited number of games, limited travel, size of stadium, and television contracts. Baseball and softball can really eat into budgets because of travel expenses

Well the NCAA is only the will of the collective school presidents from the member's institutions. Those asshats at the NCAA are just the bad guys that the presidents prop up in order to accomplish their agenda for the school, which is to make more money...

A long tradition of American Hero's

It's called "hostile work environment". Places that function best limit this kind of talk, whether it be sexual, racial, or any other controversial speech. Intent is irrelevant. If you allow people to say an overtly racist term, than you should be willing to do a full investigation into every use of the word. Even

Those clowns at the NCAA, What a bunch of clowns.

You shouldn't say it at work in a professional environment. Black, white, brown or indifferent. It doesn't matter the context or how comfortable you are with each other. If you allow this as a leader or boss, than you aren't a very good leader or boss. Nothing good can come of it. Just don't say racial terms.

That's why I love New York. They're so tolerant there.

Raycists are just the worst...

A just system? Playoffs only if the players are paid. Otherwise it's too many games for an amateur to play. The lower levels usually only play a 10 game season before the playoffs. I'd like to see Alabama and Texas agree to only 10 game seasons...

Another question that nobody is asking is what happens to the FBS schools that are left behind? Do they get their own National Champions? Bowl Games? TV Contracts? Some of these schools have heavily invested into their football program and if they no longer played big schools, it would kill their revenue.

Life's an Eskimo Pie, let's take bite...

Man, I hope to God he catches fire and leads the Yankees to the World Series. The suspense will be terrible, I hope it lasts...

From what I understood, It should be limited no more than once every 2-3 days. Being that he pitched every fifth day and only during the summer, It doesn't seem all that outrageous to receive a toloradol shot that often.

The Toradol statement is kind of bs. It's an NSAID, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, used in pain management. It's stronger than aspirin, but not much stronger.

No but this is may go to court, and YOu can get in a lot of trouble for making stuff up in a court room. Also, people said the same thing about Canseco when he wrote his book, but now it's common knowledge that most of what he said was true. Lots of people were using steroids in baseball. I think people would be

I hope this turns into full on train wreck, with A-Rod going Canseco on everyone. I hope he names names and brings all the douche bags around MLB down. He's not getting his reputation back, so why not rat out those that didn't get caught or mangement that knew about it.

My go to phrase was always "HOLY FUCKING SHIT MAN. What the fuck are you doing?" I've said that phrase way too many times. I had to curve myself, because I went from working with young adults (early twenties) to working with young teenagers. I find myself making up cusswords as I go. I said "holy ham sandwich" the
