This is a full computer. Many people spend a thousand dollars on a computer.

Glad I could help :)
This uh... is my wallpaper... It's 1920x1200, and my laptop's screen is a 15.5 inch with a resolution of 1920x1080. It actually looks great on my desktop, too, which is a 24 inch 1080p screen. The compression has done little to no damage to the quality of the wallpaper.
10/10 would dragon.
That's strange, I have high resolution wallpapers on my computer with Windows 8, and they look nice and crisp...
Quita is the best, man!
My Dell Inspiron 15R Special Edition, for $1100. not bad for 8gb RAM, an ATI Radeon HD 7730, a 2.1-3.1ghz i7 and a 1080p matte screen (which is GORGEOUS)
x86 is the architecture, it does not mean it's 32-bit. the surface pro will be 64-bit.
Fuego debajo del Fuego. Que perfecto!
I guess it's for people who want to feel a bit more comfortable with their new tablet. You can pin Metro apps to the desktop or taskbar, and you can use Windows Explorer on it like you would on a regular desktop.
It's always been there, and it was there when I was at the release party for the Surface. I really liked RT, though it can't run regular windows programs, it's pretty easy to get things done on it and it's fast.
It has a desktop, it just can't run x86 applications.
Eh, I'm not much of an app person, so it is pointless for me too, but it's nice to look at. :P
Well, it's not like you'll confuse the two. You can easily tell the difference between Metro apps and regular applications. I have Windows 8 Preview on this computer and I rarely use Metro Apps, but the speed and fluidity improvements on Windows 8 are enough to get me to switch from 7.
Only on "Metro" apps, on the regular applications, you can click X.
McDonald's fries are pretty good to eat when you have the munchies.
It has an SSD for offline usage.
I believe so, Windows 8, and Windows 8 Pro.
You are quite the joker :P
That's where they get you and many other people. By making it hard to switch, they capture people in many generations who will most probably pass it on to others. Apple is a genius company. Evil and monopolizing, but genius nonetheless.
