The one thing I've always praised Apple for is their hardware design. Every product in their line matches perfectly. What kills the nice, uniform feeling to their ecosystem is their software. So I agree, they do need Jonathan Ive as their software "overseer".
Both the RT and the PRO have 2 USB ports. The RT has 2.0 and the PRO has 3.0 USB
