Same here... specifically this song, I love the hook.

Raphael does it again. Journalism of the most elite kind.
My thoughts exactly. Calling that one sexist is reaching.
Man, I love The National.
Well stated, on all accounts. Absolutely love that clip of Kimi's last lap.
I disagree with your last point... had Kimi given way to Perez on this incident, he'd be dealing with shit for the rest of his F1 career from Sergio. Now, the precedent has been set and Perez knows that he can't bully Kimi around.
It's probably just optimal backpressure or something practical like 'it doesn't spit jet fuel debris on the helmet of the driver'.
There have been plenty of drivers who've adopted Senna's mentality; Schumacher mastered it, Hamilton and Button both came into F1 with that mentality but pulled back after a few seasons. Honestly, I don't see Perez's driving as good for the sport at all - he annoys the hell out of me and causes damage to the world…
In that particular corner, trying to overtake *is* a decision that starts in the tunnel but I don't think you're "all in" just because you come in taking a look at an overtake - it's entirely possible to abort the pass when the gap disappears, Perez just chose to keep pushing when he shouldn't have.
I think these are worse, since they don't appear to be done on purpose.
I have always thought these SC430 wheels are just nasty. By themselves, meh, but put them on the car and UGHHHH.
No, Kimi saw Perez trying to take advantage and closed the gap so he couldn't pass, and left himself room to make the corner. The problem was that Perez had no control over his car, as he locked up all four wheels and slid into RAI and the wall. Kimi didn't move into him, he blocked him from making an idiotic pass…
The difference between Senna and Perez is that Senna would put you to that same test but also had the car control to avoid a collision if the target didn't give way. Perez was on full lock sliding into Raikkonen and had 0 control once he committed to the pass basically in the tunnel. Perez has adopted the Senna…
Sergio does deserve a punch in the face... he made some very reckless maneuvers over the weekend. My problem with him is that he has the aggression and optimistic opinion on 'gaps' like Senna did but without the ability to pull himself out of a contact situation at the last minute, if the target doesn't give way.
Mmmmm... BRAINS!!!
Boo. Take your cynicism somewhere else, this looks amazing.
My point exactly... no matter how many people learn, there will always be someone else to spoil. You can't teach the entire internet and these debates will continue...
I'm not concerned about myself... I've learned how to avoid all sources of being spoiled when F1 races occur in the middle of the night. The only reason I even comment on the topic is because after every single F1 race, there's an entirely new group of people who've just had their race spoiled, and so this debate…
24 hours. One day, then it's fair game. Just enough time to watch the DVR'd event on my own schedule without being terrified of anything that contains an RSS feed.
