Like I posted in the o-deck when the episode first aired the brain washing we saw this episode could potentially also answer a few of the mysteries.

The virus doesn't kill you, what it does is reanimate you after you die. Hence being torn apart by a zombie = zombie, dying from a bacterial infection caused by a zombie bite = zombie, broken neck = zombie. but unless the baby dies in the womb there won't be a baby zombie.
Now the wolf Ruby had dangling from her rear-view mirror makes even more sense!
You are overthinking it imho. The bites simply kill you from the massive bacterial infection after having rotting, decomposing, teeth puncture your skin in a most unsanitary way.
They apparently managed to cut the costs by making all big altercations take place after dark.
The people in the cars plot hole was mentioned to the writers, see my reply above.
The writers tried a sorta lame kop out: The non-re-animated bodies had supposedly suffered head trauma from crashing their cars, and no brain = no zombie.
But this adds a crapton of tension? You can fortify your little building all you want, but if someone trips, falls down the stairs and breaks their neck you suddenly have a zombie in your midst. *Boom* instant carnage.
You are correct, I even know a "bug". In book 2 there is a scene where Arya wishes the could use a bow... despite her efortlessly bullseying a target the first time we se her. Whoops.
It was mentioned in a comment above (with link to proof) that Book 3will be split into two seasons to fit everything.
I hope they remix 4/5 chronologically, which makes sense anyways as otherwise some actors would be left hanging for a whole year without anything to do.
Why chose just one or the other when you can have both! Magic Napalm!
First let's talk about what I liked. First and foremost I love the silly hoops this show tries to jump through by scientifically justifying the Dämonfeuer's ability to spit fire out of their mouths. You see, these beasts vomit up their own burned off body fat into a kind of human fat gas, which they then light on fire…
Hunt of the Red Oktober meets the submarine parts of WWZ, starring Terminator 2's Robert Patrick, plus Scott Speedman, Dichen Lachman, Andre Braugher and Autumn Reeser.
Yeah, those were some of my favourite parts of WWZ so I hope this gets made. (and that it doesn't suck)
Not to mention that the all the GCI stuff was way too obvious compared to the actual animation, I found it pretty jarring and detracting from the overall experience.
It was pretty good, but not better than Stand Alone Complex imho.
Sadly I think we've already seen the housing development when Shane and Andrea visited the suburban area where they found all the burned bodies in the basement before being mobbed.
I love how his tomahawk is the assassins creed symbol, nice touch there.
Ohhh, nice catch there. They really aren't pulling their punches with this show.
