This statement doesn't mean anything, nor is it backed up by anything. Consign it to flames, as Hume says.

How so? My beliefs are backed up by historical evidence, which you still have not refuted on any account.

By your definition, the majority of human history is false to you, since they are all just words recorded by people. If you can't even see how fallacious your own ideas are, then it seems you have closed off your own mind to reason, and have given into fanaticism.

If he truly does believe what he says, then I think it would be unfortunate on my part to simply ignore him. As caustic as he is, I do hope to try and show how misinformed he is on his part, or at least, show him that there is another side to the argument.

"There are thousands of different religions in the world, and in the vast majority of cases people follow the dominant faith of the culture they were born into. Is it not arrogant and self-centred to think that your faith is the "true" one and all the others are false?"

"Prove to me God exist. Show me God. Let me see and hear him. Good luck philosopher."

Congratulations on your blind—backed up by zero evidence whatsoever—faith. I'd like to introduce you to the Christian faith, which is backed up by historical and archaeological evidence.

"Nothing you said has a shred of evidence. It's just words written in a book. I can't believe ignorant people like you exist. They're taking you for a ride. They've really done a job on you. So many defenses so you can't question anything. You've convinced yourself that nonsense is real. Wake up! You're just a puppet.

"It's not. There are certainly allegories in the Bible though, like Revelation and Daniel's dreams. There are lots of unbelievable stories in the Bible: Jesus turning water into wine, controlling the weather, walking on water, curing blindness...... Are you going to say that since those are unbelievable, they must be

"The difference is your research would be based on ancient books written by primitive man. I'm researching facts that can be backed up with evidence. So one could be made up and one we know is not made up. I win."

The Bible says nothing concrete about the age of the Earth or the Universe. Evolution is entirely compatible with Christianity. If you're going to use the 'research it' line on me, I can do the same to you as well. Research it. Of course the Bible doesn't have "all the answers", just the ones pertaining to spiritual

What 'science facts' do you suppose disprove the 'made up stories' in the Bible? I'd like to ask. Also, I'd like to ask if by 'made up stories' you mean miracles? Or do you mean something else entirely?

I'd like to clarify your problem with the existence of suffering. Do you think it's implausible that God and

"But I see your true douchieness shining through..."

...And? I'm not sure how "science facts, suffering and death" puts to death the validity of theism.

I'm Christian, and I didn't watch it, suspecting it was going to be handled extremely poorly, and as it turns out, it was. One of the worst things possible to portray or show is a strawman atheist. Does absolutely nothing for either Christians or atheists. Terrible stuff.

Eh? I'm playing it on my 3DS XL now, not an iProduct. You mean the iOS versions are better?

Wait, River Song is not white?

A total of eight people? I'm not a fan of puzzle games or anything, but I've been seeing a constant stream of new stuff and updates for the game all the time from Doctor Who Facebook fan pages. I'm greatly impressed (though I'll probably never play the game)! Keep on the good work!

Eh, it looks amazing, but the text! Why is the text...less sharp/in focus than the DS games? They look fantastic on the bottom screen, but reading them on the top makes me wonder if I've gone blind already. I'm also playing the third game (just finished the 4th), sort of concurrently, so I know how much clearer the

Yeah I'm surprised Evan would say something like that. He really should know better.
