I’d be curious to seethe data, either way.
I’d be surprised if they didn’t go with a canopy style. IMO

“1st Gear: Wrong Again”
Point taken but Mr. Westbrook is a Jalop, so…
I’ve probably “liked” that picture a whole bunch of times on the IG! 👍🏽
Ditto!
Oh ok, sorry wasnt trying to be a “know it all”. Yea I see your point! 👍🏽
Holy fuck yes, those cars are terrifying by modern standards. Also speaking from first hand experience, yet I’d hoon one again, in a heart beat!

Wow, I’ve almost forgotten that Fangio story. Thank you!!
I can abide by this. 👍🏽 👏🏽

Bernd Rosemeyer’s death, in the pre-war Auto Union, happened on a closed off section of the “uber quality” Autobahn. Clearly, that road wasn’t the problem, in this case, save for that damn bridge…
Probably not so much. These cars were cutting edge for the day, and really quite advanced if one accounts for the knowledge gained by WWII technological advancements, but they were rudimentary compared to today’s F1 cars. My all-time Grand Prix/F1 driver’s podium, in no particular order are: Senna, Nuvolari, and Clark. Too bad we don’t have onboard camera views[?] from when The Flying Mantuan hurtled his pre-war Grand Prix machinery around [insert legendary track here…]. Fangio is definitely great but I believe Fangio was greater.
This is good! We need moar!!
Seems like Orlove has been Orlove’d, yet his scribbling is amusing in a morbid sense.
