What I heard: The most important thing to learn in college is conformity. It is not the time to experiment with ideas and finding your style! If you want to advance to the basic bitch big leagues when you graduate now is them time to stop thinking and start bronzing.

Indeed. It was a felony in most states.

It's neither all bad or all good. Much like the ball culture mentioned above, I'm working from the thesis that drag pageants went from being underground and illegal form of self-expression to a very mainstream kind of entertainment. You know see Bravo housewives talking about "shade" and "reading," which is fine, but

I'm working on a similar piece regarding the mainstreaming of drag. There is so much people don't know and it's more than a little gross.

I want to be sympathetic to their loss, but I want to yell at and slap the parents.

There was a great article in the NYer a while back. It's pretty much a literal shady cabal.

C'mon! It's a lot of pressure and in some cases the proportions of dog to ball are totally off! These dogs made a choice and you sit there with your opposable thumbs judging! How'd you like if I cam to your house and just threw crappy tennis balls at you, I bet you'd opt out too!

First rule of Write Club, Jim!

I also had a couple Jez pieces thru the years, but this more fun —

A sincere thanks! And I'm glad to be doing anything like a normal person.

Mat is the awesome, glad to help the whole wide world get to know it!

In perhaps my proudest career moment ever, my interview with Mat makes Dirt Bag!

I spoke with him on a panel once. Super fun, charming guy. Looove his work.

On point and I didn't know that about Chip Kidd. He's great.

TV Party tonight! (Or not.)

I would've watched this show if it had cute doggies.

I call it "the Trump."
