@cynep: I'm not going to google all day for you but it is pretty easy to see that Vick has not "single handedly stopped dog fighting". Use your damn brain.

@Go Vols!: You seem to be assuming a lot about what my opinions toward Vick are. I think that anyone convicted of a felony should not play major league ball. It is not someone's "right", it is an amazing privilege to be paid that much to play a sport. I certainly don't think killing a person is less bad than

@WetSkeletonz: First off, being a celebrity is not a "right". It is an honor we bestow upon people for a variety of reasons. It used to be that those reasons included being a decent human being. Then just talented. Now just a sex tape really. I think that we as a society should save our attention and accolades

@Monty: There is no way he "brought down canine fighting" except for maybe just the ring he started in the first place. The practice still continues, one only has to see that arrests still get made at the same rate after as before. Nothing changed.

@meatbag_pussrocket: Since Vick's "rehabilitation" he has said many things that suggest he was actually not rehabilitated. The quote of his about continuing dog fighting, when heard in context, suggested that he would be fighting dogs if not under surveillance.

@Faslane: To give a point and its counterpoint a +1 sort of devalues the +1. Just saying.

@seven5suited: I'm not saying he should be formally punished further. I am saying that he had a position of extreme privilege in our society. He did some terrible things and now someone more deserving should get that spot. He gets a "fresh start" to be a normal person like you and me. However why let him retake

@Go Vols!: Earning potential is relevant. If you fine someone $100, it is a big punishment to a poor person but a small punishment to a rich person. Vick is a rich person. Earning potential is figured into many calculations, child support being one of them.

The world would be better off if we decided to stop employing/supporting celebrities who turn out to be complete dbags. There is plenty of new talent, let them have a chance at the spotlight and maybe we can find a guy who is good at the game and isn't a monster that lacks basic empathy.

@Go Vols!: As someone said, Tiger paid more. Also, when you have a natural talent like Vick and get paid the money he does, losing $100 million is still not a big fraction of all he will earn in his lifetime. People have certainly lost more for doing less. That you would accuse someone else of histrionics after

$825 is a lot just to inconvenience the thief for a few minutes while he looks for his $2 hammer.

@BabylonAndOn: True, I really should have qualified that heavily. There are plenty of intelligent people in the military. I think 5th Elephant said it better than I did.

@phertiker: It just seems like an odd collections of skills to me. Meditating monks, check. Meditating monks who fight, uh OK that's fine. Meditating monks who fight and do quirky tricks, that's a TV cartoon.

@fe.scolfaro: An interesting perspective. There are a couple flaws in this argument, most notably that the people that join the Army do so in the first place because they were underserved by their community and lack the skills to get a real job. However I think the point you'd find most interesting is that the Army

So Shaolin monks are a religious order that also knows martial arts and then sometimes does Cirque du Solei (sp) tricks?

@mangonights: I based my career off that movie. Seriously.

Any source for the wallpaper in the video? I can only find it in low-rez. Thanks!

"The SIXAXIS controls, meanwhile, add motion controls akin to those of smartphones"

@WillieF: It was a joke. I didn't think there were people who WOULDN'T get the reference:
