For those of you interested in what this alumina is, it is basically aluminum oxide which is inert and harmless. A layer of aluminum oxide forms on the surface of all uncoated aluminum products.

To give this some perspective, I was working as a chemist back when buckyballs (fullerene) were heralded as a discovery that will change everything due to properties unique to that material.

@Wade McGillis: The guy who worked with this in the lab was correct about the spelling.

@liftedngifted1: "obviously you do not listen to much Hip-Hop like I do"

I think a good analogy for what happens during the creation of fossils is the creation of stalactites in caves.

I used to love those Sony Ericsson candybar phones and I came here to defend that design but, admittedly the design did not age well and these knockoffs look even worse than the original.

@ezrashapiro: Your 2 is right but I bet you the woman with the cell phone is not a villager. Chinese villagers are crazy poor.

@t('-'t): And where are your awesome jello shot photos? Nowhere? That's what I thought.

These are made with Knox gelatin, which produces a very odd jello consistency. Much better to use flavored jello.

This video has all the hallmarks of someone my dad's age launching a viral marketing campaign.

Here are the ones I made. in lab. as my username would suggest.

@Wayne Ripley: Right, because there is a clear and adherent nomenclature for narcotics. Come on.

@SEDAGIVE?!: Pretty sure that "rogue wave" is just a flock of seagulls.

"I have found no evidence of image manipulation whatsoever."
