I can't justify it but I really want a "hubless"bicycle for some reason. I do like equal sized large wheels tho.

@Lizard_King: Flip flops are great, don't pay attention to the haters.

@triplecheeseburger: Here is a normal photo of a sink filled with media bottles that also has this problem

@triplecheeseburger: I know, it is just nuts. My first iPhone didn't have this problem but I had to replace it because it would periodically not recognize the SIM card. The next three replacements all had this issue. My only guess is that the were all "black box" non-retail packaged replacement phones. I suspect

@triplecheeseburger: It was like this right out of the box. First thing I did was test the camera to see if it had the same problem as the last one. I am just waiting to replace this one until the manufacturing fixes this problem. Right now too many iphones seem to have this same defect.

@gebinsk: An interesting hypothesis. I don't know about how CCDs are damaged by light but this problem occurred in three phones that were just taken out of their boxes. That would mean the cameras were damaged before they left the factory.

@JabbaB: What does that even mean?

@infmom: Maybe you can't see what's going on here but the image is green in the center and red at the edges. No grey card will fix that.

@cjoricj: Flash not on. Just a plain piece of printer paper indoors in a well-lit room.

@gebinsk: But what is the problem? And why have I personally come across at least 5 phones that do this but there is no reporting on Giz or any other site about this issue? Seems like a big deal to me.

It would be even better if it behaved like a Leica. I am getting this really odd color distortion. I took it back to the Apple store and got a replacement and it had this problem too. The Genius' phone also did this but the display model did not. Anyone else see this? Here is a sample picture taken of a white

@sweetelectro: +1 for reasonable attitude about hipsters.

Future predicted: flying cars

@Ozzie, The Last Hairbender: Well, this is new to Gizmodo or at least they've never been so obvious about it in the past. I think Giz has the potential to be something more than just a late night talk show. Maybe this brings in big bucks and is worth it, but to me it makes Giz feel less reputable. I don't want to

@NuevoLeon: Thanks for the concern. I understand that the site isn't a charity etc, I just think there should be a clear line between paid content and reporting. Otherwise the site loses credibility. This "whining" is really for Giz's benefit. It would be a stronger site if it paid more attention to basic

@satalac: They are selling the attention of their readership. I come here to read about gadgets, not movie releases. This guy owning a iPhone 4 is a pretty weak link at best.

I have this feeling like this is an ad, not an article.

@RockySterling: I'm just saying that the majority of people my age use cellphones. Just like how CDs killed tapes killed vinyl etc.. you can find people who still use vinyl but they just tend to be oddballs interested in anachronism, whether they realize it or not.

Considering cellphones have largely replaced watches, neither option sounds all that attractive to me.

@DanHibiki: Oh man, I cannot deal with it. Marissa Mayer has a laugh that is the pure essence of a boner killer.
