I don’t think the reticence is there. The New D&D team and ethos really seems to be embracing the Story over rules idea, but 5e is also flexible enough to appeal to the older cadre that likes “system mastery”

One of my fears is that this expansion will give players who lean towards power gaming more of an incentive. I saw it in Adventures League when the Tortle became a playable race.

The thing of it is that Starlord’s actions are in character. This is the guy who got into a pissing contest with Rocket over who was the better pilot that ended up crashing their ship. He has demonstrated a very distinct lack of emotional maturity in the previous movies. Starlord isn’t a villain, he’s a flawed

In that triad Jenner is by far the most substantive person. That’s terrifying. Tyga seems to have a think for “cultural appropriation” meme types. It’s interesting in this way:

From what I’ve read, they were actually played in the opposite order so that Totoro could serve as a pick-me-up after Fireflies.

One of the craziest things about this powerful movie is that it was originally released in Japanese theaters as a double feature with ‘My Neighbor Totoro’. Can you imagine the families in that theater first watching the whimsical Totoro only to follow that up with the emotional gut punch of Fireflies?

Yeah. I recall that The Chronicles if Riddick were also based in some campaign notes Vin had too.

Magic The Gathering Mike is MY Fanfic and I’ll be damned if The Rock is going to have a cameo in it!

I’m pretty sure trying to incorporate Vin’s D&D style into an established movie universe is how we ended up with the Chronicles of Riddick.

In the case of pork it would depends on how farmers react. If they keep the animals alive prices will steadily rise as they’ll have spent more to raise those pigs by the time they bring them to slaughter. Any pork already slaughtered may see a price drop in order to move the surplus left over due to the decreased

I like to imagine that the whole fight was over Dungeons and Dragons. Like Vin was running his weekly Fast and the Furios Family D&D game and he was just a total dick and killed off The Rocks 15th level Paladin with a silly mid dungeon trap. Now they are no longer on speaking terms

And, for God’s sake, VISIT THE HOMELAND!!!

Well, when it was created, almost every RPG was aimed at an audience of thirteen year old boys. I’m surprised it wasn’t called Fantastic Awesome Role Trying System, or Big Old Organized Boy Stuff.

GURPS is easy to run, but character creation and upkeep can be a lengthy process for the players.

GURPS was brilliant between the late 1980s and the early 2000s as a highly modular system that offered tremendous flexibility to setting. (“Universal” indeed.) It definitely comes from an old two-steps-from-wargaming design aesthetic where one must retire from public life for a year into a basement of one’s choice and

I’ve rolled with a ranger that is Sean Connery from Highlander.

Step 1: Overthink until your mind breaks down to a point of picking one randomly.

A lot of my characters have been heavily based on video games or anime. My first D&D character, an elf Eldritch Knight, is essentially an expy of my Elsword character.
