Yeah, I've been in the Game Design Online course since late 2010. I don't recall this guy as a teacher in any of my classes either. Some of my teachers have been directors of the course, so I figured by now I'd have come across him. Weird. Maybe he's a teacher in another course or the on campus course?

You are totally right. I have to wonder though if Metacritic scores were around in the early days of the 1st videogame boom, in the early 80's would there even be an industry anymore?

I actually go to Full Sail, so I hope that this isn't taken as being biased, but I hate the idea that a Metacritic score can make or break a person's job security. Some developers actively look to see if any games you worked on had a particular Metacritic score. I don't think that one entity should be the "end all"…
