Maybe I'm the exception that proves the rule. My ex was a couple of years younger than me, and was a student (writing his dissertation and teaching). It was a huge issue between us that I had a more traditional, successful career. He hated the fact that I was tired and stressed after work, and had to spend a chunk

@mweng: Unless you're Mira Sorvino, and have Dr. House to diagnose you from afar!

@seatangle: I've lived in NYC for 10 years. I spent 5 days in London in 2006 and I thought it was lovely. No rudeness anywhere. I'd much rather live there than here!

@marathonjunkie: Ha, that's my dad. I love to watch him go through the Brooks Brothers catalog and fold down pages.

@lynbird: You make a very good point, I hadn't thought of that. I will say, ETA "tortured, nerdy guys... in British dramas." Better, yes?

@Ima B. Me: This. I was just coming here to say that. The juxtaposition of those expensive-looking brushes and the elegant mauve shades in that palatte with the rest highlights the cheapness even more.

@lynbird: I don't believe for a second that a guy that skinny could have a six pack. His abs don't match the rest of him. Humph.

@a_common_reader: I think Lena Heady is in HBO's Game of Thrones though, coming this spring. A way awesome role for her.

Oh MAN, I wish I'd seen this before my ex-bf dumped me a few months ago. He kept several of the books that I'd loaned him, "conveniently" not returning them with the rest of my stuff.

@AMDH: Well, Coke acquired them sometime in the last 5 years or so. They changed some formulas, marketing, etc., upon acquisition. (A friend of mine used to be a sales rep in the pre-Coke days when it was a pretty fun startup to work for, and quit when Coke took over).

@Descarada: Ah yes, the SnackWells days. My mom and I used to go through boxes of those cookies every week, of course, eating 8-9 in one sitting.

@MissWhatsit: I feel really bad that I'm eating salmon sushi right now.

@andnowlights: Me too. When that came out, I was already old enough to help teenagers sneak into the theater...

@NomNom83: And also, further rumors swirling that this pattern was just repeated with Ryan Reynolds.

@Rabbitty: I'm 99% sure I saw that faux-leather monstrosity in H&M yesterday.

@rocketgeek: My insurance doesn't cover ANY adult immunizations. Hooray! (This is why we need healthcare reform, people!)

Do you think she meant to use Anti-Freeze and grabbed the windshield fluid instead?

@MsRizz: I have that article, half-read, sitting on my coffee table. I am having a really hard time getting through it, and that bit you quoted is mostly responsible.

@bethinwonderland: Well, Kourtney at least has been open about the fact that she's got implants.

@sugarhoneybabycakes: My friend bought them all from Freeform Games. I believe "Happy Birthday R.J." was the dynasty/dallas one...
