Ah! My eyes!
Ah! My eyes!
@shoeshinesal: Corn and soybeans produced by giant Monsanto-type farms/companies are just as bad for us and the environment as factory-farmed animals. So please don't be self-righteous about not eating meat.
@Brianne: Ha ha ha! Go Mike Huckabee. What an asshat.
@whoneedslight: Oh man, The Lives of Others was the only movie I saw in the theater last year that I thought was worth the price of a ticket. Soooo good. And now I have a huge crush on Sebastian Koch.
@cupcakesofdeath: Ha! My best friend's cousin was a "beauty" on Season 2 (I think she almost won). My friend tells me the girl wasn't all that dumb, just had no filter, so everything she was thinking showed on her face, which (along with editing) made her look dumb.
Amy does have an amazing voice. I think "Back to Black" is OK but her first UK album "Frank" is gorgeous. Someone gave me a bootleg about 9 months ago and I still can't stop listening to it. (It just got released here about a month ago.)
This is BS. There are lots of ugly, rich, powerful people in this world (hello Bill Gates.)
@gra: I was hoping someone would bring that up here. God knows I haven't visited the site where you can vote, but I'm guessing all the girls are still up there, and everyone still voted for her because they missed her.
@Macloserboy: The "nightingale effect" you speak of is so true. About 7 years ago in my medium sized hometown there was an "outbreak" of teen suicides—kids between 12 and 14. One kid hung himself, and then his best friend did, and then another, and another. I think there were 4 total. My mom was a teacher at the…
@lindzertart: I was once prescribed boric acid suppositories for help in keeping things PhBalanced down there, and they were FANTASTIC. Hmm... maybe time to get my current doc to do that for me.
My dear departed kitty William the Conquerer used to go on hikes with us (we had a national forest out our back door). But he would get tired after a while and go home. We definitely needed the hiking version of the stroller — a backpack?
@TheGintheCity: Ok it's actually Laura Hollins and she's from the UK, but close enough.
@JessicaLovejoy: Actually, I'm pretty sure her real name is Jennifer Dunkleman and she's from Minnesota, or something like that.
I was ganged up on by groups of girls at various times during elementary and middle school. They would talk behind my back, prank call me, make up dumb rumors. But I still longed to be a part of their group. Why? Couldn't tell you. I still bump into one of them once in a while when I'm visiting my parents and…
@TruculentandUnreliable: @funnyface: I think Tyra should have YOU guys on her Asperger's show. You've both articulated this disorder amazingly well. It's good for all of us to hear from people with direct experience.
@blondegrlz: She has to be — she' involved in several major plot points in both the 6th and 7th books.
@SpicyTamale: I'm definitely with you. I've never found him hot. Especially not after he played Willy Wonka.
@bringinghomebacon: Word! I just bought 4 pairs yesterday.
Broadly, thanks to the Jezebels for putting this up today. Can we keep having discussions like this right through primary season? I have NO IDEA which Dem to vote for, yet, and hearing the opinions of other voters outside my social circle (where we're all pretty much the same) is really going to help.
Oh man. I really feel for her. I've looked like this before (in the face—not shirtless). One sucky thing about living in NYC is having to take public transportation when you're having a bad day or been dumped, and can't stop crying. Boy would it suck if the paps were around on those days. (but sometimes nice people…
