I would love to see a man in uniform with a beautiful fascinator atop his head! I'm thinking one with a stars and striped theme would look smashing. ;)

I'm quite curious now as to what is considered a feminine/girly hat? Are they cloches???
What I have learned today from twitter:
I know he was in Pirates, but I wasn't crazy about them. Only really liked Keira Knightly and Johnny Depp (well, sometimes, not a fan of his normally). And Elizabethtown is definitely not everyone's cup of tea but my family and I kinda love it. Plus, the soundtrack is one of my all time film soundtracks, it's the…
Can I just say as someone who saw Queen B this summer in concert, it was one of the best nights of my life, she seriously gives a hell of a performance. She is also one of the most genuinely touched performers I've ever seen, she teared up once or twice and was so sweet about everyone coming. Not going to lie, seeing…
In my family we refer to Orlando Bloom as "Ooohh....pretty elf!" from LOTR. That's about it. The only other movie of his that we think is acceptable to talk about is Elizabethtown. Otherwise he hasn't really done anything terribly noteworthy.
Stories like the one in this article, about working out at the gym, is part of the reason why I don't feel comfortable working out there. Even when I was a teen (only a few years ago I must admit) I just felt this pressure to be done when everyone else was, when really when I'm working out I should go at my own pace.…
I just really like Josh Groban, he's delightful. And I loved when he was on Graham Norton, before that I hadn't realized how funny he was. I don't particularly listen to his music but I will say he does have a great voice too.
Would it make it better if I told you that he was looking at his great gran, Queen Elizabeth? I don't really know how to explain that face but it does seem like the baby version of bitch-face, so I totally love it.
You know I'd be okay with this casting, still not totally happy with the professor and Jo together, but it would be good casting choice.
How about Kiernan Shipka as Beth and Emma Watson (with dyed brown hair) as Jo? The two of them look scary alike I think and I really want them to act in a role where they are siblings.
I will never be okay with the fact that Jo and Laurie do not end up together. They were one of the first couples I ever "shipped" together and I was heartbroken when Jo turned him down. I once read that Louisa May Alcott ended up regretting her decision not to have the two of them together, I'm not totally sure this…
Celebrity stories? Okay, so I've seen Anna Wintour, Bill Cunningham in person which was terribly exciting! They are two people who I respect immensely. Oh, also saw Abby Wambach at a hockey game once which was kick-ass! As for celebrity interactions, I've only really had one, I met Marlee Matlin a few years ago at a…
Or the scene from Game of Thrones. Now, that would be interesting to see!
I agree that their are problems in Islam. But there are also problems is Christianity, Judaism, pretty much any religion, Islam should not be singled out in that fact. In the UAE, the laws and issues regarding women is quite problematic that is true. But that you paint Islam with such a broad brush is troubling, not…
I'm not particularly a fan of either of them but I do have to hand it to Kanye, he always goes all out and makes sure whatever he does is 100% spectacular.
Oh dear, I probably should have explained that a bit better, but you are so right, non-muslim women should also cover up when they enter a mosque. But with Rihanna, it comes across as more a fashion statement then really a sign of respect, hence the cultural appropriation feeling I get from the pictures.
You know Grump Cat? I made the Grumpy Cat face when I read those lyrics. Somehow the lyrics were worse then I thought they would be, especially the last two lines of the first section of the song. Yuck, that was something I didn't need to ever read.
Woah, I didn't see that. But that quote just makes all this even worse. I abhor when celebrities take to something on a whim and then promptly discard it when they no longer deem it "cool". In this case it also seems like a bit of 'cultural appropriation,' she thinks it will be fun/sexy to dress in a conservative…
You know what, I'm siding with the Mosque. It's a place for worship and while Rihanna is covered up that is simply not enough. Not every place is her personal backdrop for a photoshoot. Some places are too holy and it's disrespectful and distracting for those who are there with the intention of prayer.
