How is the performance vs the 360? Better load times and fewer frame drops?

But will this always be the case? Isn’t the plan to get Xbox One to be able to use most of the same apps as in Windows 10? In that case, I would think an emulator would solve the NES/SNES problem nicely.
Same here. I immediately ordered the Pip-Boy edition, despite never pre-ordering. Sometimes it’s OK to do that when you are a huge fan.
Not going to lie, the pip-boy edition was my one exception to the rule. A new Fallout game is literally the only possible game I will preorder.
Having played Fallout Shelter, I can say that you aren’t missing much. It gets repetitive fairly fast, but maybe those types of games just aren’t my thing.
I think Bethesda won with Fallout 4 and I’m totally not an extremely biased fanboy. Really I’m not. Well, mostly not. Ok, maybe a little. Ok, alot.
Yea, I’m a huge Fallout fan, but after a few hours of this, I was completely bored. It seems like repetitive busy work after a while. But I do appreciate that it is free and completely playable without needing in game purchases to get anywhere meaningful.
I disagree with Fallout 4 not being a winner. So what if there were rumors before E3. In no way did those rumors prepare anyone for what was shown. It really looks like Bethesda spent a significant time packing in everything and more that fans wanted. It looks like a truly amazing game that improves in almost every…
the only Fallout 4 leak we posted revolved around a set of casting documents we received in 2013, two of which we posted on Kotaku.
For those who want to know a little more about the institute, here you go:
For my good olive oil, I use one of those rubber vacuum wine stoppers to suck out the air and seal it. Work really well.
I’ve always been conflicted about Tyson, and shows like this make that conflict even more difficult. It’s so damn good.
People are finally starting to wake up and realize that the “organic” label is mostly a marketing scam based mostly on uninformed consumers. Literally everyone I know still thinks that organic food does not use pesticides/herbicides/fungicides.
Am I mis-remembering or didn’t Kotaku decide not to participate in embargos anymore. Was this game too much to resist? :-)
Have you used Aperture before? If so, any thoughts about how it compares?
a new Photos app that replaces iPhoto and Aperture
I continue to be amazed at the dramatic acting range that Odenkirk has. Sure, he was clearly good at comedy before, but his acting this season is probably the best of all TV shows this year.
In fairness, the CDC has had its funding restricted from some gun related research, so CDC’s accuracy is questionable in this regard. According to this article/study it’s probably around 100 per year, or about 2 per week. If true, that’s not an insignificant amount.
It’s difficult to get an exact number of child-related accidental gun deaths because only 18 states participate in the CDC’s program for these numbers. Thus, the numbers they have are likely less than half of what they are nationwide. But overall accidental gun deaths certainly more than a daily basis (I think usually…
Great explanation, thanks. The US had a similar craze for that stuff during the ‘80’s too. I remember that every kid wanted throwing stars and samurai swords. I don’t recall there being much mention of kids getting hurt, but even if that was the case, I doubt things like that would ever have been banned. After all, we…
