You’re wrong. VA Inspectors aren’t always the appraiser and have to be certified through the VA for the inspections. They do look for foundation issues, peeled paint which can cause wood rot. If you plan on getting a VA loan then you will get an inspection. VA requires it.

If it’s a VA loan then it is required.
