NO, a pancake can't maintain 90 PSI because the drop in PSI from use of a tool keeps it from being able to regain that psi.

Ummmm no, it's not about cfm...they cannot maintain the psi needed to run the tools. Air Cut tools run at 90psi and a pancake can't maintain that. You hit the trigger and start cutting and 5 seconds later it bogs and dies. Been there, done that.

Only problem with this is that the pancake compressor can't run impact wrenches, grinders, etc. They just don't produce the psi needed to keep them up to speed. One that will fit a big compressor would be better although this would be good for a trim guy since you can carry around brad nail guns and such.
