This is just really annoying. I'm glad this particular officer is not being an indignant asshole, and he was an adult about it, but why couldn't he have been an adult while driving? I've seen cops where I live run through stops like it was nothing (usually an activity reserved for only the most distracted of soccer

No, that part I understand, it was just written very weirdly. It's grammatically funky.

Anyone who pays $70k for what is essentially a Tahoe (which is overpriced as it is) is a complete idiot. The 4Runner is a much better option, and it likely won't have reliability issues.

I'm equally confused.

I like off-road capable SUVs, but those aren't vehicles that need to or should be driven on a daily basis. They should be primarily reserved for inclement weather (I mean a lot of goddamn snow/mud/gravel, etc.). In general, I'm against any SUV that can't go off road, and again, even if it can, that doesn't mean you

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I've met, tops 3 or 4 people in my life with adequate foresight. I remember families I knew in the early to mid-00s buying Tahoes, Yukons, Escalades, H3s, then having to sell them because gas skyrocketed. They could totally afford the gas, these people had money, but they just freaked out

People have made stupider decisions.

You're delusional.

Why is Bernie Sanders so awesome?

I don't hate it either, and I am usually the first one to deride any new SUV that can't actually off-road. This is kind of not bad in a lot of ways, and in some ways, even appealing. I think we just need to think of this segment as the "urban sofa/concrete-jungle futon" segment, which somehow kind of justifies it to

The ass of an S class coupe. It works. A lot of design elements on this car-thing work. Just not in this particular combination.

Good luck though, I'm envious. Always wanted a 911, but figured I'd save it until I could afford a new one or a really nice classic RS model (so not for a long ass time).

Because if you aren't over ethically sound on the internet, people think you're a politically incorrect monster shitlord elitist.

Consumer Reports says Acura has halted sales of all TLXs with V6 engines due to a potential safety defect in its nine-speed automatic transmission that could cause the car to roll away when it's supposed to be parked.

It's not a horribly expensive fix, and given that the build quality of the cabin is a lot nicer than other sports cars of that vintage, it kind of makes sense if you want something relatively fast and exotic. Basically, if you aren't a Corvette fan, this is where you might end up.

If you wanted to make a town feel like it just had an earthquake, wouldn't it be cheaper to get some ginormous subs from a stancebro's stancemobile and just turn up some hip-pop to 11?

I don't mind the aesthetics too much, but it isn't a beauty. Weirdly, I see more 964s around than 996s, or at least it seems that way.

It's ok, everyone's busy getting boners over the 993 for the time being.

Try to find a 993 in good condition under $50k.

A local Porsche mechanic told me the exact same thing. It's pretty amazing how cheap you can find these, and if they're low on the mileage, it makes it even better (the car wear and the fix). I'm pretty surprised more people aren't going to buy 996s and doing this.
