That’s because Bethesda/Todd Howard talks out of their ass more than any other game publisher. (Except Molyneux, but I think he’s retired.)  They consistently over promise and under deliver. Their main product is hype and fans are getting sick of it. So expecting them to deliver on their promises isn’t too much to ask…

There are several indy games that already offer full planet exploration for multiple planets. (Empyrion Galactic Survival and Space Engineers are the two big ones.) They’ve been out for years as well. And then there’s No Man’s Sky which is what Bethesda is obviously trying to recreate.

Almost like he was writing a song to be popular and make him lots of money instead of it being meaningful.  But no artist would ever do something like that!

Also has historical accuracies. Needs to be factually wrong throughout.

And he’d still produce something better than the schlock Amazon handed the (extremely rabid) fans.
