Definitely go back to it. Demon's is a bit rough around the edges if you compare it to Dark Souls, but it's a wonderful experience with its own incredibly unique feel.

Demon's Souls was the reason I bought a PS3, and Dark Souls is the reason I don't give up on video games altogether.
