I was terrified of E.T. for years as a child, convinced that he would appear from my closet and get me.

Descendants. Ancestors came before us, descendants come after us. That is all.
Yeah, it seems strange to me that this is even a topic of discussion. Like, was anyone out there going "Huh, no fresh corn today. I guess I'll get some ham."
What happened with the Control Ultimate Edition?
Someone needs either more or less coffee yet today.
You know you don’t have to read their opinions, though, right? You can choose to disengage from this discourse at any time, and as a bonus not reward them with clicks. Seems strange to cross the street, just to tell someone you don't like being on the same side of the street as them.
What's a Fortnite? #KeepCoolWithCoolidge
I love how any even joking criticism of TLoU brings out the terrible discourse around those games.
It's not too late!
You should watch the movie! It’s a real treat if you enjoy cheesy garbage flicks. It also features a bizarre cameo by Branscombe Richmond, who co-starred as Bobby Sixkiller in The Renegade. Truly bizarre stuff.
As someone who had one, it wasn’t worth it even as a clearance novelty. If you’re curious, get an emulator and play AvP. I doubt it’s aged well, since it ran horribly even by 90s console shooter standards, but it might help you feel better about passing it up.
I’m presuming that OP’s wife, like most partners, gets a say when deciding whether to spend their combined income on high-cost luxuries, particularly in a time of extreme economic upheaval.
Sorry, but the VA considers administration of drugs via Predator Suit to be an investigational service, and therefore full responsibility for the cost would fall to Doomguy.
In the next Doom, you have to fight to take your atorvastatin or Doomguy gets high blood pressure. The tension ratchets up in more ways than one, when the VA denies his prescription coverage for not being related to a service injury. Thrills and chills abound as you must wade through five levels of escalation with…
This is exactly why doing your homework is important. History matters, and other cultures aren’t just window dressing for you to try on; it’s not just cosplay and fun-and-games. There are real, sensitive people involved, and this is exactly what happens when you can’t do the bare minimum of studying the context of the…
This is absolutely fantastic. I love both I am the Wind and Snake Eater, and Cynthia’s performance on both are 100% of the reason why they work. Snake Eater especially would be an absolutely ridiculous song if you went by just the lyrics, but Cynthia lends depth and gravitas that knock it out of the park. Thank you…
Yes! Fantastic. That’s actually still pretty ghoulish looking, and I don’t feel so bad that I couldn’t finish this as a kid. Thanks for finding and sharing that!
We had both this and Beyond the Forbidden Forest, and I remember being pretty scared by them. I don’t remember which one it was, but I remember a bit with a giant mosquito sucking my character dry, leaving a pile of deflated skin. That was way too much for my five year old self to handle, so I never made it very far.
Double XP made me laugh very hard. Old nerd is pleased.
A couple of people are saying that they’ve not seen the Blast Processing ad from Sega, so here:
