Jigglypuff for the win.
There's a fake 7-Eleven in Amman, Jordan. It's in Shmeisani. Pretty funny, but for the area it's a pretty solid knock off.
the headline made me want to play a game where you literally trap a bunch of pirates in an elevator

I just don't get the appeal. Is this scratching the same itch that people have when they create hand-made scale models and train sets, etc? It's impressive from a distance, but up close, nothing really looks like FF7—it all just looks like Minecraft. Oh well, eye of the beholder and all that.
Pretty sure that's a typewriter.
Boooooo Freddie DeBoer and his "never-wrong" attitude! BOOOOOOO!
Question, for anyone who may be in the know: Would upgrading from Mountain Lion affect my Windows 8 bootcamp install?
Shadow of Destiny (or Shadow of Memories in Japan). I played this game like 15 times through. All sorts of different endings, and a really interesting story involving time travel. I thought it was great, but no one else I knew had ever played it and my brother wasn't really into it either.
Indeed—the animation was pretty weak, though. I didn't think any of that final interaction was believable looking.

True. The American pork chop is one of the leanest cuts of meat out there. It's almost boring how lean it is!
That song was surprisingly annoying.
This is a brilliant concept. Looking forward to seeing the results of your experiment! And I loved the teaser!
Well, I thought it was cool until I saw that it really isn't much more cost effective than buying a comparably sized preexisting home. So that's a bummer.
Wow, that is really cool. Honestly, if someone would figure out a cheap, cool looking way to cover the exterior panels so that they didn't look so industrial that would be a nice little home!
The mobility of it all reminds me of Qatar's plan to build a huge luxury hotel on a barge so that once the World Cup is over they can move it wherever it will be needed most.
Welp, this party really died...
